JDC was a way better team earlier in the year than right now. Beat Poplarville, Lawrence County, Laurel and Raleigh; all who are still playing. By far held Columbia to its lowest point total of the year. Also beat Seminary who is still playing. Since then we’ve seemed to play down to our competition which is very frustrating. Dropped passes have been a huge issue for us. Our qb has been battling a leg injury and hasn’t been mobile since the Raleigh game. This team can play way better than it has the last 4-5 games. They need to find the intensity they had earlier in the year

From what I’m gathering JDC is replacing basically the whole offensive and defensive lines. Should be good at the skill positions but will have to have some guys step up on the line. Could see them experiencing some growing pains early on with the loaded schedule. . I have to backtrack on my jimmy and Joe statement. I got reminded today that in 13 when we lost to Prep we had Jimmy, Joe and all their first cousins. 3 still on NFL roster. 2 others spent time on NFL prac squad and 1 that’s on a CFL roster. At least 2 more D1s and prob a couple jucos and still lost.

More about the Jimmys and Joes. You can pretty much run whatever offense if you have the dudes. Good coaches get their team prepared. When Fri night comes, you better have some dudes

My man if you think that statement was an excuse for losing then I know you’re even more mentally challenged than your grammar indicates. We could’ve used that as an “excuse” since the 3rd game of the year but that ain’t how we roll. It’s next man up. I still stand by my statement that we were out coached and out played against H hurst…which means I’m giving them all the credit. I think there’s a lot of truth to what you said about losing some steam. Losing Thompson ultimately caught up to us. He was the tone setter for our running game with his physical style
