The sensible choice for turning a program around is Mancuso at Jeff Davis County, and next might would be Todd McDaniel or Todd Breland.

Mancuso is very happy where he is and Breland is retiring. That leaves those two out.

Coach Boyles is done coaching high school football. That's out of his own mouth.

Breland left because he is tied of losing at South Jones. i think he could lured back with the right situation.

If Meridian wants to go that way they should go get an assistant of Toby Collums. Better yet call Ryan Earnest he;s catching a lot of flack in Laurel right now and might bolt

Slick you’re absolutely right about Coach Boyles. He said he was done, he’s enjoying fishing hunting and being and being grandpa lol.
I don’t see Breland going to Meridian. I believe if he comes back it will be at an academy where he can get paid and draw retirement.

What is he catching a lot of heat for?  Just one year ago he was one game away from playing for the state title and even had the eventual state champs on the ropes late in the 4th qtr. This season no doubt fell short of what they expected but I think Laurel fans wanting him gone is a mistake

I think it's more of having to deal with a really bad administration and superintendent. Makes it hard for them to have success.
