I watched 2 7 foot guys consistently not block out. I watched guys off the ball watching the ball allowing their guys to move without the ball leading to wide open shots. It’s things a Beard type defense normally doesn’t allow and I’m sure will be addressed.

Other than Hubbard, State has absolutely no backcourt that can create their own shot nor make a jumper. They were beat by a USC team that’ll prob finish around 8-10th in the SEC. The two best teams I’ve seen today is Tennessee and Auburn. Auburn put the conference on notice today. Ole Miss was just beat on the road by the best in the SEC. I can live with tonight. It’s what was needed. Florida was benefited today by a crazy home crowd leading their team and should’ve beat a very young Kentucky team that has bunch of weaknesses yet still fell short. Kentucky will struggle against more balanced teams especially with a physical frontcourt. Kentucky looked like Ole Miss. Excellent in transition off of mistakes but struggled in set offense. Again, Ole Miss is a top five team in the SEC.

Regardless of tonight’s outcome, from what I’ve seen today Ole Miss is a top five SEC team and will easily be a tournament team.

UPSET ALERT: USM gets a huge home win and moves to 8-7 and 2-1 in the Sun Belt with an upset of #19 JMU winning 81-71. Congrats USM!!!

USM up 75-68 with 2:07 left and starting to get chippy with both teams trading techs.

USM now on 9-0 run and has extended it to 73-60 with 4:31 left

Not to jinx it but USM currently up 6 on undefeated #19 JMU with lil over 7 mins left. JMU has cut a 15 point deficit down to 6 though.

Based off high school supporters on X from his high school it’s unfortunately not. Tv announcers better start thinking of a nickname. His parents need a talking to.

Kiffin in the office today wondering what he’s going to do with Q leaving. Oh nevermind I forgot he’s on vacation trolling on X, playing chess not checkers and remembering that before Q he had the leading rushing team in the SEC with a 3 back committee.

Switch it up to lady’s hoops real quick. Ole Miss got a big road win last night against Bama to start off the SEC play. Girls played a great game defensively and was also helped by some poor shooting from Bama holding them to their fewest points total of the season. Big test comes Sunday. I’ll be in The Pavilion rooting them on as they try and take down the defending champs.

They add depth to an OL that needed it by the year end. Pounds just started every game this year for UNC. Them two plus Heard from LSU that’s visiting this weekend would be gladly accepted. Pounds and Heard I could see being possible starters with Lewis as a backup to help during running situations since he didn’t look very good in pass protection.

Not to mention eventually adding Diego Pounds and Percy Lewis to the OL group and still be less.

Gonna be strange trading out Q for Jase McClellan.

Bentley went into the game banged up then left early after his 3rd carry. Backup to Bentley was redshirted and other backup was about to go into portal as well.

I just know there were rumbles last offseason with Q and Kiffin getting into it causing a big thing where Q about entered the portal. There was really no secret around here that things weren’t great at the beginning of the season, but does one go and make a topic on a forum saying that? Especially if you’re a supporter of that school. This isn’t the end of the world as some want to make it seem. We have a guy that averaged 5.7 ypc behind a horrible OL waiting his turn and then the #8 RB in the class of 2022 that was ranked above Dowdell also waiting his turn.

I was young once in the military soooooo but I’ve got a wife and son now so no I wouldn’t get caught doing that now.
