Games like that are hard to gauge anyway because the bigger school doesn’t really get up for it that much, while the smaller school comes out with something to prove

Look, it may not mean anything for the regular season. But Hattiesburg did not look good, especially offensively. Defense played good in spurts. But Heidelberg lost most of their defense from last year and Hattiesburg moved the ball very little.

I think Tville may have their worst season ever next year. Maybe the next couple years. They got a decent junior high group coming up though. They will have to build around that group.

I would fully expect Wesson to be better than JDC. They return most of their team from last season. Their QB is the real deal, and they have a really good WR. I believe they only lost 1 WR and a RB, and a couple offensive linemen. They should cruise easily thru their regular season schedule.

Last year Heidelberg was a lot better than this year and the game was alot closer. Hattiesburg offense was almost non-existent, and Heidelberg lost 8 starters from their defense.
