The Covid rules were: Only 2 hours of practice on Virtual days and no games on those days.

No we didn't. There are rules in place. They go to school Thursday the rules are not on the table. Symptoms are on the table. You got stay home. Get to the Dr plain and simple. And yes spray down the schools and busses as precautionary. And I do mean every school if necessary.

Rules state no games on days school is closed. They can practice but only 2 hours. Any players experiencing symptoms shouldn't be allowed to get on bus to Forest Thursday night nor should they be allowed in school. That's my opinion only. They shouldn't be spreading it to another school. Of I was Forest or any other school I would be checking Temps at the gate. No one from each school allowed on the other side except ream shaking hands after the game. Even that nay be risky at best. If Forest should win then could spread to their next opponent and so on. Maybe parents only should be allowed in the stadium. But that's the coaches and admin decision. They may need a week out of school.

Does that allow you play Forest Thursday or Friday. I know Raleigh and Bay Springs both were down 2 weeks virtual with no games. They were forfeited. Then again I think you could play Saturday or Monday if necessary.

Then who drops back to 2A. I currently have 41 in 2A because 2 schools had the same 8-10 grade numbers last year. I couldn't see splitting them.

Region 6 schools may very well go 4-0 Round 1.

Looks like Magee will be visiting Enterprise in Round 1. With a date against JDC/St Stanislaus Winner vs Franklin County winner in round 2.

Depending which Morton team shows up. I do believe both Union and Enterprise will win.

Kemper will be 3A on last year's numbers. I have 4 going north. Velma Jackson to Region 3. Philadelphia, Union, and Sebastopol or Scott Central with Sebastopol as #41 tied with New Site at 169 on last year's numbers.

If two schools are tied at 169 at the bottom of 2A will they both be 2A or split? If they stay that's 41 schools.

According to last year's numbers it probably 160 to 170. It seems all the smaller schools may have turned in numbers as lower as 20 below this. So it's fluid as to who stays 2A or who drops down. I think as many as 20 schools are on the bubble.

Here's what is so weird about Region 5 3A. Sources say all 6 teams will be replaced. They are either going 4A or 2A next year.

According to sources points are not needed seed the teams in Region 5. Therefore we have Morton and Morton as seeded teams.

No same region all sports according to proposal they passed in April.

I am debating how you would put 3 non football schools in a 2A Region up north. Then have up to 10 non football schools in NE Mississippi and split them into multiple regions. Some schools in the Delta/Starkville area get 1st round byes in the football playoffs.

Points are no longer needed If Union and Enterprise win then Enterprise is the 2 seed If Morton and Enterprise win then Enterprise is the 4 seed There is no way Enterprise can be the 1 seed or the 3 seed.
