I can tell you one thing. They need somebody with half a brain to draw up these divisions. I was just looking at some of the matchups from this past weekend and there's no way some of the teams are in the right North/South area. Not real hard to put pins in maps and sort it out

Agreed Vott that it does present a predicament. Definitely could be a judgment call, however there are a lot of judgement calls so I treat this no differently. If you think it's legit then don't throw flag. If you think it's suspect then throw it and live with it. Only other option would be mak a flat out rule 10 second runoff of something if game is stopped for injury and clock restarts immediately when ball is declared ready for play

Agree 100% on Vancleave . They have definitely bought in and give everything. On the coast I think the under acheivers are as follows: East Central, Harrison Central, St Martin, Bay, and Moss Point

Great assessment. I agree with you. Biloxi will be a good game between the 2 of them for the last playoff spot. Both Harr Central and St Martin are pathetic so should be a cakewalk for a very talented Warrior group. Only one thing can get in the way of going 3-0 and making the playoffs

If they don't beat a terrible Harrison Central team this week and a weak as usual St Martin team next week it will be a curtain call.

In my opinion, there's no doubt we should only have 6 classifications. The only reason I think this was down was because it gives the almighty MHSAA more $$ from gate receipts. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind that if the MHSAA was using that money for let's say "policy enforcement" instead of salaries in their office. Not a fan of them as you can tell

My problem with the enrollment process is I'd like to know the verification process used by the state. I would think the state Dept. of Education should have access to the MSIS data used by schools and could pull enrollment on their own with a few clicks of a button or two. I don't feel they should be relying on school districts to turn in "real" numbers as we all have seen examples that would manipulate that process. Does anyone know the process of verification?
