Funny, that was my exact reply when someone asked me who West Jones played last week. It seems some folks are talking the same way about this game as others were talking about the Ocean Springs/Oak Grove game. There's a reason why they still play the games and not just award the W to the "more talented" team.

Good luck getting a response from the OG faithful as they have not so mysteriously disappeared. Sometimes that's how that reckless talk ages.

The world we live in, apparently. OG may be better 9 outta 10 times but this was the one that mattered most. The way any team wins a game. Show up and score more points than the other team. They did just that. That trip by OG at the end saved another Ocean Springs td.

Injuries happen and bad calls happen. Sometimes you're on the good side and sometimes you're not. Where were those "rumors" last yr when WJ was whoopin everyone? Why is it that rumors are so abundant now? Sorry, but scoring only 20 vs a dismal PRC team should've been a HUGE red flag. What did you honestly think the ceiling was for this team?

I have no insight to provide on the WC situation other than I agree that Justin Cooley is a good one. Did he end up at another school?

After watching some of the Meridian game along with most of the 1st half of this game, I'd say those concerns are warranted.

I just didn't expect you to seem to surprised based on your knowledge of his past experience. Personally, I expected him to win a big one or two in his 2nd year.

And yet you just doubled down. It was a matter of time really . The guy knows football. I figured you recognized that during his tenure within the OG program.

What's even funnier, is he's a Long Beach guy and he's always singing Stogner's praises. But, OG folks know all too well about complaining about HC's.
