You didn't read that clearly huh? I didn't say we were beatable, I simply stated we aren't as close to beatable as we were last season.

I don't think this West Point is close to being beatable in 5A like they were last year. The offense is way deeper if used properly.

Duh! I stated that when 7 classifications was announced that it would be a benefit in West Point's advantage. We don't kno what would've happened if we played Grenada. Considering we've pretty much beat them when they were 5A I like our chances. I mean they did beat us to win the district and lost to us in the playoffs. Their HC can't and hasn't beat West Point despite having leads and one like Holmes County Central only to blow it when he was at Lafayette. Just stating the facts

The problem is a lot students started going to North Panola. Coaches also tried to change their system. West Point doesn't have that problem with another team in Clay County. They had that problem with coaches attempting to change the system in the 90's. Allen brought the system back in 99 when he became the HC. Made the state in 02 won it in 05 and the rest is history. And with 7 classifications the run go continue

Holmes County coaches blew that game. We had a costly mistake deep in the 4th with the interception. HC ran the ball 3 straight times instead of trying to get a 1st down and we still had our timeouts.

Close calls yes but that's the way the game is played. The talent was deeper on the bench and the jr high programs are looking good

Never take them very serious. We rarely win them but I saw some similarities to the 17 team offensively only. That team was dominate

West Point 33 - South Panola 19 I'm not comparing them to the 17 team, but that was the last time our offense was this loaded, IMO. Defense has some work to do but they'll be fine Not sure what this means for SP. I heard some players were out. I kno we had 1 key defensive player out on the d-line
