  1. Georgia reminds me of the Bama teams from 8-10 years ago.
  2. Most of the Bama fans I know are concerned about the lack of big plays. I don’t think they will be able to drive the length of the field consistently against a defense like a Georgia.
  3. One thing I was glad to see was the defense didn’t give up the over the top big play.
  4. They got swarmed in the 2nd quarter and couldn’t get over it. Had chances to get off the field and didn’t make the plays.
  5. At least we showed more life that Arkansas. They got it shoved down their throat and made to like it. Next week will be interesting. Who can bounce back.
  6. Well I was listening to the radio and it kept cutting off you might be correct with the yardage.
  7. I maybe off I tad on yards and carries. But the RB from Wayne County had 9 for 221 and 5 TDS tonight.
  8. There is one main thing that is worrisome to me about the OM Bama game. Does Corral press to much. He has done a great job of not pressing and taking what the defense is giving. But this is his first time really in this spot light on this stage with these expectations. OM success Saturday will depend on his ability to stay within the game plan and not try to force it.
  9. He was a good man and a good coach. I had the pleasure of knowing him for quite amazing while. His father has been my preacher for 25-30 years. He will be missed.
  10. And Corral, Drummond, Mingo, and Sanders don’t need to step back on the field for tonight.
  11. Corral is running it tonight more than usual on design or read plays. Just something else to give them to look at.
  12. This team actually reminds me of some of the WJ teams from the past. Not big size wise but very quick and well coached.
  13. I agree with you 100% about being the least physically imposing team we have had in a while. But them guys play with their hair on fire. The kids played with great effort and discipline. They were for the most part where they were supposed to be.
  14. IMO Snoop is kinda like the closer of the backs. The carries will be spread around so we will always have fresh legs and I think we will see Ealy out on more pass routes.
  15. Defense has been great so far but I’m really impressed with the patience that Corral has shown. When they drop 8 he is taking what is given. They cost us 2 games last year.
  16. Well last year we made medicore offenses look good so any kind of life is an improvement.
  17. I just don’t get all the people saying LSU is gonna have bounce back year. I think O is fired at season end if not before.
  18. It’s non district. I can really care less and wins and losses. It’s gonna hurt not having any game experience.
  19. From what I was told one of the schools had a few out with the virus and rather than risk potentially having a outbreak and missing real games they just decided to cancel.
  20. Yea he is very raw. But he is only 17 and should have been in high school this year.
  21. The kid Vandy is throwing is young and raw but he is the next in a long line of Vandy 1st rounders.
  22. Yea to me it is backwards. State really needed game 1 to put pressure on Vandy. If it goes to 3 a rocker and Bednar will be a good one but Rocker will have that extra day of rest.
  23. My guess is Corbin wanted to kill any momentum State might could have gotten going forward. State has had some late inning rally’s and even if you don’t pull it out it could lead to something the next day.
  24. IMO States best chance was to steal game 1 and force Vandy to bring Rocker on short rest for 2 and if they win it you would have Bednar going against a #3 for title.
  25. Most teams do only 1 #1. But Vandy actually has 2 guys that are #1’s. Rocker was the Friday night guy all year. And him and Leiter were tit for tat all year. The only way MSU would have an advantage on starting pitching would to start Bednar tomorrow against I’m guessing Little from Vandy.
