  1. NC State just blew South Florida's doors in to the tune of 45-0 and Miss St. plays NC State next. To place matters into perspective, UGA sacked the #3 team in the nation 7 times last night while competing at a neutral site location while Miss St. managed only a single sack vs La Tech at home in Starkville no less. This means that even if Miss St. gets the offense clicking, that the offense for opposing teams will be able to pick the Bulldogs apart due to the total lack of a pass rush. The Bulldogs of Miss St. are in serious trouble this year and may have very well won one of if not their only game of the season already. I'm fascinated by the fact that Dan Mullen went 9-4 and routed Michigan in the Gator Bowl in 2010 52-14 in only his 2nd season after inheriting the mess left over from the Croom admin and that in year two under Leach that Miss St. is this dreadful considering Leach inherited a far superior program in comparison to Mullen. I'm also not convinced that Leach can get it done on the recruiting trail. Instead of his hire bringing a recruiting bump to our program, I feel like it was our program who brought a bump to his recruiting prowess. It's not coincidental that Leaches' highest ranked recruiting class ever just so happens to also be his first year in Starkville. This situation also highlights just how special the Dan Mullen hire was and how hard it is to win in Starkville, MS for whatever the reason/reasons may be. The only reason I'm not writing Leach completely off is that he didn't just get the job done at Texas Tech but rather he was able to have reasonable success at Washington St. as well. Things are certainly not looking favorable so for however. The older MSU alums would be wise to pre-emptively get pace makers installed during the Mike Leach tenure.
  2. I too am a student of Jesus and believe that God did make us free to a degree within a limited physical and mental capacity.
  3. Your personal opinion and interpretation of the Bible is noted Chunk.
  4. it could very well mean that those who are unmarried and can't seem to stay away from married people in relation to their sexual desires should become married which wouldn't necessarily include the sexual desires of two non-married people. The point is, if the authors of the Bible believed that all sex before marriage was wrong, it seems a bit odd that those authors wouldn't simply and explicitly state as much.
  5. The entire Bible doesn't pertain to the singular subject matter of this topic. Only singular scriptures of the Bible are purported to address this topic and therein lies the fallacy of your argument I believe.
  6. That's not true. Let's put your false claim directly to the test by copying and pasting the words from a single scripture and then copy and paste my words under that scripture passage and prove your remarks that I've in any way stated the direct opposite of a scripture passage. You simply can't and won't do that.
  7. And yet I've successfully done just that so far unless of course you can point to a fallacy contained within the confines of my remarks. Not only have I played devils advocate but I've additionally fine tuned his fiddle as well.
  8. Isn't what you described exactly what everyone does with scripture by reading it and interpreting it as they see fit? It's difficult to say a person is wrong in their interpretation of the scripture without stating exactly what it is they're wrong about and the reason you feel they're wrong.
  9. H-13:4 states "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." To this line of scripture one might say that indeed marriage should be honored by all and that two non married people sleeping with each other in no wise does anything to dishonor the shared bed of two married people. Again the marriage bed can't be defiled by two non married people sleeping together without allowing two non married people to define the marriage bed which I'm pretty sure most Christians wouldn't stand for. Also, God may indeed judge the sexually immoral but where does the bible state that two non married people sleeping together is sexually immoral? I agree that a married person sleeping with anyone else other than their spouse regardless if that other person is married or not married is considered by the teachings of the Bible to be immoral.
  10. (G2, 24:25 states "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.") To this line of scripture one might say that people who sleep with multiple partner prior to marriage still fulfill this scripture by eventually one day clinging to his or her wife after tasting the flavor to see which person they wish to become married to. (1C 7:2 states "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife." ) To this line of scripture one might say that fornication is a married person having sex with anyone other than their spouse. The scripture makes no mention to the number of spouses and doesn't address the eventuality of this scripture, meaning that many non married people have sex with many other non married people prior to marriage to better ensure marriage to a spouse who best suits the needs of both people being married.
  11. Just like C-19, there have been those who have obtained the flu shot over the years and have gotten the virus. I've seen no evidence that what's being labeled as C-19 isn't merely the most recent mutation of the flu strand or series of virus. It was said for years by science leading up to the potential creation of C-19/relabeling of the flu that a concerning immunity to the effectiveness of the flu shot was increasing across the general public which could lead to the flu shot not being as effective as in years past. I return to the fact that you can't start giving separate categories of numbers in a Microsoft spreadsheet for what's being labeled as the flu vs what's being labeled as Covid-19 absent first establishing a real world difference between those two diseases which I've yet to hear or see anyone do.
  12. This is the CDC’s warranty disclaimer statement regarding the accuracy of the primer and probe sequences developed by and issued to C-19 testing labs to be used in the testing diagnostics to determine if a person has C-19 or not. Would you purchase a new vehicle absent a manufacturer warranty? Then why would you trust a test which sees its validity stem from a development technique not backed by the developer? You won’t see this disclaimer on your local or National news b/c it doesn’t comport with the narrative used by the masses currently. "*****DISCLAIMER****** These sequences are intended to be used for the purposes of respiratory virus surveillance and research. The recipient agrees to use them in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Every effort has been made to assure the accuracy of the sequences, but CDC cannot provide any warranty regarding their accuracy. The recipient can acknowledge the source of sequences in any oral presentations or written publications concerning the research project by referring to the Division of Viral Diseases, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA, USA" This is the weblink directly to that statement >>> rt-pcr-panel-primer-probes.pdf (cdc.gov)
  13. I want Meridian, MS covered by the national media the same as other areas of the country are covered by the national media when this type of incident occurs. I would have thought that to be obvious provided the initial post in this thread.
  14. That's a great question MSUBulldog2010 and I'm pleased you asked. Allow me to respond by saying that yes I do believe that the Saint's anticipate Ian Book from ND who was selected in the 4th round of this years NFL draft to be the long term viable option as the starting QB for the Saints regardless of who wins the current battle for the starting QB of the franchise. In much of the same way that the Patriots have high hopes for Mac Jones, I feel Sean Peyton shares those same aspirations for Ian Book. Yes I agree with you also MSUBulldog2010 in your comparison and assessment of the similarities shared between both former Saints QB Drew Breese and Ian Book in that both hail from academically astute college football programs with Breese being drafted out of Purdue and Book being drafted out of ND. Both QB's are roughly the same size, both have attractive scrambling abilities in the pocket allowing them to evade being sacked and both even share a birth mark on the face. It's my firm belief that Ian Book was drafted with thoughts of attempting to duplicate much of the same success experienced over the prior 20 years with regard to #9. It's also worthy of note that neither Drew Breese nor Ian Book were touted as the end all be all QB heading into their respective draft day with the same degree of fanfare as say for example enjoyed by the Eli Manning's of the world. Winston may start the season for the Saints allowing for a number of trickery plays to be installed using Hill in the offensive huddle at the same time and yet I don't anticipate Winston being with the franchise even 3 seasons from now. It's been great conversing with you MSUBulldog2010 and it's nice that we can always count on the "Other Sports Forum" to be hoping with so much activity. Until next time my friend.
  15. More importantly than the win with a score of 23-21 is the fact that for the 2nd week in a row, the Saints held the lead upon their starters exiting the game.
  16. ScoreStream.com and MaxPreps.com are two of the better sites to get up to date scores for in order to post in this thread for anyone who needs a solid score site. I prefer ScoreStream.com personally.
  17. And yet I take it you're not defending former disgraced officer Starks who potentially now faces 10 years in federal prison?
  18. It's preseason currently and as a Saints fan, I was pleased to see our starters outperform the Ravens starters on the road yesterday by holding the lead upon exit of the game. To go on the road in the 1st pre-season game of the year absent #9 under center, without Michael Thomas in the game, to turn the ball over 6 times and lose by only 3 points isn't necessarily the worst performance. Feel free to share your thoughts about all items NFL related. WWW.NFL.COM / WWW.ESPN.COM/NFL
  19. I've never gotten the vaccine, have never gotten the "virus" and will simply go ahead and say that I'll never get either of the two. People are being over diagnosed with false-positive test not being reported by the media. I've spoken with numerous individuals who state that they were diagnosed with the virus one day then a few days later they did another test that came back negative. This goes back to the primers and probes being used in the testing diagnostics by the labs not be warranted by the very CDC who produce the primer and probe testing codes issued to those labs. The reason for not getting the vaccine has gained steam if anything not lost steam due to the national media reporting when the vaccines first came out as being 100% effective to now reporting that those who get the vaccine can still be infected with something regardless if that something is C-19 or merely the Flu for which no distinction between the two has been shared with the public at large to date. I also notice that virtually all pictures of a infected person displayed on the news is in already terrible physical health and clearly have numerous other conditions, anyone of which could have been the straw that broke the preverbal camels back in terms of that persons health. Respectfully of course. Respectfully I say these words.
  20. I just shared this article with over 10,000 LinkedIn.com connections of mine so thanks for the link.
  21. Pancho brings up an interesting point b/c both the flu and c-19 spread in the exact same manner and the flu is estimated to have an incubation period that moves 24 to 48 hours swifter than does c-19 and yet in spite of these facts, flu numbers have dropped while mask wearing allowed c-19 to spread like wildfire. Let's rehash, c-19 is said to be more aggressive than the flu even though the CDC estimates the incubation period for the flu to move a full day to two days faster than c-19 and even though both spread by air droplets, mask have killed the flue but not c-19. These notions are simply not believable regardless of the national media's lack of desire and motivation to discuss these facts.
  22. You nor anyone else that I've conversed with have identified a scientific variable which would render whatever % of cases you're referring to as being anything other than the flu. Hitting the backspace key on the word influenza in a spreadsheet and replacing it with the word covid, doesn't create a new disease in reality. The point of this topic is that I can give numerous similarities between what's being described as two separate viruses while none has shared a key difference between what's being described as two separate viruses. In order to establish two different percentages for two different diseases, one must first identify evidence to suggest that there actually are two different diseases but in the case of covid-19, that step has been skipped right over and the unscientific leap to giving separate percentages for the Flu and C-19 took place instead. I don't currently believe them to be two separate virus types but rather one singular virus type based in part on the evidence that I shared in the original post. Attempting to use statistics to suggest that covid isn't the flu doesn't work but actually has the reverse effect considering flu numbers dropped through the floor of being virtually nonexistent at the exact same time that covid numbers shot sky high. That doesn't suggest two different diseases but rather one disease that has been relabeled. What happened to the flu? Where did it get buried? Did it even get a tombstone or proper burial or did it get dumped at sea along with Bin Laden? I mean everyone is hating on covid-19 like he's such a bad guy but people fail to see the good in him. I mean he did get rid of the Flu did he not?
  23. I don't know but I also don't know where I should post about pro sports when various topics arise either. Were users of the site consulted regarding the creation of the other 10 tabs when the site was developed? I suppose I could post in the "other sports tab" but that tab just seems so lifeless.
  24. I have a 100% clean background check myself and agree that theft and violent crime is a problem especially in that area of the state but Daniel Starks (the officer) has been a bad egg since his childhood and comes from a brutal family who raised him with that mindset.
