I'm not sure what narrative that would be considering central, Mississippi doesn't strike me as an area that the national media is overly in love with. At times, one might ponder if someone within power/government in central, MS doesn't have dirt of some sort on various national media outlets due to the total lack of coverage regarding corruption and the like stemming from this area of the nation. One explanation for the lack of coverage is due to central, MS desire, ability and aim to cover up many of these situations by leaving body and dash camera video footage off, losing the footage or refusing to comply with FOIA request to release the footage. I believe that the national media simply never hears about many of these stories due to so many citizens in MS being too poor to hire a lawyer that would allow for release of more of these videos. The state of Alabama by comparison, has free legal aid to its citizens to over 3,000 lawyers linked to the referral program by the state while the state of Miss has no such service for its citizens. Miss only provides a service via Miss Legal Services whose scope is extremely limited to a small number of types of cases when compared with their Alabama counterparts.

If this happened in Ferguson, or Charleston, or any number of other towns across the US, the national media would be eating the story alive and yet Meridian, MS is untouchable by the national media. This officer tased an African American man in the back of his head while the man was not putting up any fight and had been laying on his stomach in handcuffs for an extended period of time already. The man is kicked etc. The footage was brutal. Why on earth will the national media not touch Meridian, MS? Your guess is as good as mine! The officer is said to be facing ten years in prison. Where is ABC Tonight? Where is CBS This morning News and numerous others which can be named? Where?!

I think LSU and OU have been stronger in recent history. All three schools have been playing ball since the 1890's. Both OU and UT have north of 900 program wins while LSU has only north of 300. LSU has somehow managed to play roughly 200 less games since about 1893 to 1895 until now than has both OU and UT. Since the exit of Vince Young, I feel that both LSU and OU have been a bit stronger. OU and UT will see an uptick in recruiting as you say and yet their competition will also become increasingly stiff compared to the foes the two routinely met while competing in their prior conference. I agree with most of your commentary and also feel that MSU, UM, USC, VU, UT, Mizz, UK and Arkansas would all benefit from a quad/pod format. MSU, OM or any of the other schools that you or I named aren't required to beat Alabama and the like on a yearly basis in order to achieve a premier program across the college football landscape so that's the good news.

That's an interesting option that might help the teams who aren't Alabama, OU, UGA and the like to feel that their school actually has a shot at winning a division title at least every 3 to 4 years. That format might be better for overall fan moral.

LSU and OU are the premier programs in the West if UA and AU move East IMOP.

LSU is licking their chops if UA and AU move East on paper. That leaves LSU as the top dog in the West. Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M etc just aren't where LSU is year after year.

I also feel that the SEC would be better balanced strength wise from one division to the next with only the addition of AU to the East and not both AU as well as UA.

Moving 1 team instead of 3 makes the most sense to me b/c Alabama and AU could remain playing the Iron bowl regardless of which half of the conference either team finds themselves in. Mizz could easily make a nice fit in the West but I would elect to move a single team instead of 3.

Auburn to the SEC East. I would bet the farm on it. Either that or there would have to be a 16-team free for all with the two teams with the best record and strength of schedule at the end playing for the SEC championship game.

So I've figured out that AU is being sent to the SEC East by process of elimination now that the SEC has officially extended an offer to both OU & UT. Obviously the Iron Bowl will stay in tact. Auburn instantly becomes a contender with both UF and UGA for the Eastern Div title in the process IMOP. Thoughts?

Olympic silver medalist and his brother jailed for over 20 years for drug smuggling - CBS News Two-time Olympic silver medal-winning kayaker Nathan Baggaley and his younger brother have been jailed for more than 20 years each for trying to smuggle up to 200 million Australian dollars worth of cocaine into Australia. The pair was found guilty by a Brisbane Supreme Court jury in April of attempting to import a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug in July 2018. Lawyers for the men argued Dru Baggaley had believed the dozens of packages contained tobacco, while Nathan Baggaley knew nothing about a plan to import any illicit substance. Judge Justice Ann Lyons rejected the brothers' claims and sentenced them Tuesday on the basis that Dru Baggaley was a "principal organizer" of the operation and his brother Nathan was "actively involved" on the day the two men went to sea, and was set to be rewarded substantially for his role. Nathan Baggaley, 45, will have to serve 12 years in custody before he is eligible to apply for parole, while Dru Baggaley will be eligible to apply for parole after 16 years. Nathan Baggaley was banned for taking steroids in 2005 while still competing as a kayaker. The brothers were jailed in 2009 for manufacturing and supplying large numbers of ecstasy tablets, and again in 2015 for producing party pills and conspiring to make methamphetamine. He is not the only Australian Olympic medalist to be accused of drug-related crimes. In February, former Olympic swimmer Scott Miller was charged with drug trafficking after Australian police seized methamphetamine valued at 2 million Australian dollars ($1.6 million) and accused him of directing a criminal syndicate. Dr. David Agus is currently reporting on CBS This Morning News that the delta variant is a new virus but the good Dr. is simply wrong as the word variant defined means " a form or version of something that differs in some respect from other forms of the same thing or from a standard." So the Delta is either a variant of the same C-19 virus or it's a new virus but it's certainly not both as Dr. David Agus is so falsely reporting. If I said that C-19 is a variant of the Flu (which I believe by the way), then the masses would be up in arms.

My condolences regarding your father as I've lost mine as well. I don't see anything scientific that would indicated what's being labeled as C-19 is anything other than the latest strand of the Flu and it should be noted that throughout history, various strands/mutations of the Flu have always been worse than others. Keep in mind that the CDC states that the Flu is estimated to have an incubation period which moves a full 24-48 hours faster than does C-19 and this all while the media reports C-19 as being the more aggressive of the two upper respiratory tract infections. So the one with the slower incubation period is the more aggressive of the two when they both transmit in the same manner once airborne? I don't buy it respectfully. I don't mind that the latest version of the Flu has been labeled as C-19 but until I see a scientific difference between C-19 and the Flu, I'm not ready to say they're different disease types when all indications point to them being the same disease.

The Bible says "Let not the wedding bed be defiled." Many Christians interpret this line of scripture as meaning sex should not take place prior to marriage. If two people share a bed prior to marriage, how then does that bed constitute a "wedding or marriage bed"? If a wedding or marriage bed can be defined by two non married people sleeping with each other, then what does that say for the marriage bed of two people who are joined by marriage? It would seem that when you say two non married people sharing the same bed are somehow defiling the marriage bed that to do so, is to falsely equate the bed of two married people to the same bed as two non married people. I'm admittedly playing devil's advocate but would enjoy any form of feedback related to the subject matter respectfully. Some have come to interpret this scripture as not meaning that sex before marriage is forbidden but rather that sex after marriage with anyone other than the person you're married to is forbidden.

Both the Flu and C-19 are estimated to have the same incubation periods, both are upper respiratory tract infections, both share the same method of spread and delivery, both have the same signs and symptoms, and for the first time, it's being reported that one upper respiratory tract infection in the way of C-19 has virtually and completely wiped out another in the way of the Flu. Meanwhile, the primers and probes used in the testing diagnostics in labs to claim that a person has C-19, aren't even warranted in terms of accuracy by the CDC according to the primers and probes disclaimer statement on the CDC's official website. Perhaps this is why so many false/positive test results are rendered and why a number of individuals who get the vaccine also get the virus. Both viruses attack RNA and not DNA. That's a total of 5 key similarities and yet none have conveyed to me a key difference substantiating C-19 as a virus different than the Flu. Thoughts are obviously welcome. I turned down $24.50 an hour earlier this year to conduct C-19 contact tracing on the 2nd-floor of the Triage Center in Jackson, MS due to my personal belief that much false info has been spread regarding C-19 since its inception. Virtually no one at the time would have ever believed that our country could be duped into invading another country based on a false report of weapons of mass destruction and yet that's arguably exactly what transpired. To date, my research has revealed to me that whatever the difference between C-19 and the Flu is, that the difference is both assumed to actually exist as well as remaining unstated to the public at large for whatever the reason may be. Additionally, why do I have the sneaking notion that just as soon as the delta-variant dies down that every named variant under the sun from the Ozark-variant to the Malaysian-variant will start popping up over the next 5 to 10 years? It's eerie right b/c I constantly see an alternate reality on my TV vs what I personally experience here in the real world when I walk out of my house and my unvaccinated self is interacting with my equally unvaccinated neighbors and we're all simply asking ourselves, what's really going on? For the time being, my personal cure for C-19 happens to be the off button on my TV remote. The masses were ready to invade Iraq based on seemingly false intel and for what it's worth, the masses are also for getting the vaccine while lacking the needed intel to confirm a singular key difference between the two aforementioned virus types. I would like to say that I'm playing the devil's advocate but I'm honestly not so sure that I am at this juncture. Most would consider a 5:1 ratio with 5 listed similarities while only seeking 1 key difference to be more than fair. The CDC is the supplier of the primers and probes to the testing labs and yet the CDC doesn't warranty the accuracy of their own product. If the CDC doesn't trust the accuracy of their own product then why should I? If the difference in the two viruses isn't being told then that situation leads me to believe the difference isn't being told b/c the difference can't be told. If no difference can be identified between C-19 and the Flu then there's no way that a determination can be established as the two being anything other than one singular disease type. As strong as the desire is stemming from various elements of the established government to have everyone vaccinated, you can't convince me that if there was a key difference that the difference wouldn't be currently shared on virtually every form of media possible.
