Picayune getting out played tonight. I hate to say it but we're not as good this year as we have been the last 2 years. Don't get me wrong I think were tired. We have played some really good competition this year so far. We will be fine in District play. Playing great caliper teams this early in the season will help us going forward. We can't expect to get 2 touchdowns behind against these really good teams and expect to come back every game.

If the peewee program is doing good and junior high program is doing good then it on Coaches in High School. Back in the early 70s and middle 70s we had some tremendous 9 grade teams. The 9th grade in I think 1973 went undefeated and un scored on and we followed it up with like 6 and 2 record. We lost to Pascagoula Comer and Rooster Jones 6 to 0 late in the 4th quarter. And one if better players fumbled in the end zone on a punt return with it raining so hard u couldn't see the yard markers. We lost 8 to 6 to Moss point Mayo. When all of us got to High school we was lucky to win 2 or 3 games all year for the years we were in high school. So I think coaching contribute to that. By the Dodd Lee's Dad was our junior high coach but wouldn't give him a chance at high level. Thats what Politics will do.

Yeah this Defense is really good. We lost a few in the secondary. But the one in there are gonna learn how to cover better and become really good. But like y'all have said when a complete game comes together in will be on. #4 is a great athlete and has gotten stronger also. He can play anywhere on offense other than the line.

Picayune will attack this game and I feel sure they fixing to get things together. They will be fine without #6 . We have a a couple guys that will step up and get it done. Everyone forgets Picayune defense ain't too bad either.

U exactly right Tiburon all we need to do is keep working hard and getting better and fine tuning everything. We will be find without #6. He needs to get back healthy what ever time it takes. We have enough to let himnhey healthy again.

Like people have said Picayune cleans up there 1st half disasters they will be hard to beat.

They have played three really good teams. And next week will be another stiff test. But when they get all cylinders clicking they will be really tough. #4 is the real deal also.

Triston Cooper from Picayune is gonna be a good one also. He got a lot a of playing time this year on both sides of the ball.

Russell Mitchell would do a great job at OS. Because he went 5-6 doesn't mean he isn't ready. They could have been in a rrebuilding . I'm talking about Germantown and he had a lot to do with Oak Grove offense why he was there. If Ocean Springs has tge the athletes and can run a spread offense hes the man. He also has experience at EMCC and they won a couple National championship why he was helping there. He's definitely proven his self.

At one time Picayune and Bogalusa was a prett good rivalry. Also Picayune and Moss Point was a rivalry type game at one time.

Gulfport had alot more athletes and talent wise than Germantown. And plus alot more money I would expect. I think he would come to Gulfport but u never can tell. But he would definitely air it out on offense.

Russell Mitchell is a really good choice. He came through the Picayune system. But he did a really great job at Oak Grove as offensive coordinator. He loves to spread u out and throw the football.

Its gonna be some smash mouth football due to both teams running the football for sure.

Just saw the forecast it looks like the nad stuff we be out of here between 7 and 12 Friday. But we supposed to get some rain pumping in fron the Gulf Friday night and Saturday. Hopefully that forecast stays away until after the game . But I will be in the stands rain or shine. Roll Tide Roll.

I hope it doesn't rain. I hate to sit in the rain but I will if it happens to rain Friday. But the rain I think hurts both teams.

We need a safety in the middle of the field. That would help with the passing of Gautier

I don't know about that. Picayune can score too. #4 is a athlete for sure. We have a bunch of really good athlete also.

Your absolutely right Slick when u ahead like that u run run run and worked the clock. Picayune was stopped 3 times on 4th down. They had 4 turnovers and missed a field goal. But they never gave up. There defense played lights out. I do give credit to West Jones defense they were really good also. Besides the 78 yard pass for a touchdown on the 3rd play of the game Picayunes defense kept West Jones offense in check. Picayune had over 300 yards rushing. West Jones had around 160 yards total offense. Picayunes defense kept us in the game and give a chance at the end.

Its gonna be great football weather. So they should be fired up and ready. I really think we will be ready to go. Roll Tide Roll

We could of also score again after a interception we ran back to the 1 yard line with a minute or so left but kneel on it. West Jones has always had a really good team and very athletic and also wll coached. We have really good team and some great coaches. Like I said in earlier post I just dont think we showed our hand. I think we will play a lot better this coming Friday. I think we kinda took Laurel a little bit light due to them being a #4 seed. But like everyone says that all the teams that makes the playoffs is good. Our top four in our division was pretty tough and the Region 3 division with there top 4 is tough also. I think Laurel play up to there potential like they did at times all year. It hard say sometimes who's gonna show up. But we will definitely have to play better on offense for sure this week. I think and I might be wrong but I believe that we didn't show that much .

Yeah u exactly right Tib. We can't just run it up the middle over and over. We have to get Davis out side and in space. Be honest we were sloppy on Offense. Defense played really great. We had the football around the 30 yard line on a couple occasions and didn't score. Sometimes when u play a team that there Defense across the line like Laurel was I would say they weighted at least 300 to 325 maybe bigger its hard to run it up the middle. But we continue to try.

Yeah it was really good its been probably 15 years ago since I went. I didn't know it closed. But it was really great.

Hey Slick I think u talking about Catfish Point that has the best catfish fillets. If thats the place they our the bomb. Yeah like Tib said Gautier has really good parking and its not that far from the interstate. Good Luck to Y'all tomorrow night.
