you are right. points allowed by a defense is not the same as points allowed on the scoreboard. you have to put blame where it is. if its points off turnver by the offense then its on the offense -special teams points are not allowed by the defense either. but there is no denying it all matters in the end...so maybe the defense saves some face if you look at scoring in its entirety...but those other issues are very real and will sink any team in the playoffs. Football is the ultimate team sport. no offense, defense, or special team can win a championship without support from the other parts of the team.

Well said I agree. Only one you listed I agree with is Stockstill. Done a great job over there. Stogner has done a good job of steering the ship that was handed to him in my opinion. Picayune truly reloads yearly and just has to make sure they get to the stadium

Call me crazy, but when did going 4-7 and 0-6 vs teams with a .500 or better record become impressive coaching? LOL If they played in any other 5A region, they probably would have been sitting at home come playoff time.

He had an unbelievable game for sure by scoring two KO returns for TD's , a pick 6, and three offensive td's. GC defense might not of played their best game but NOT LIT UP! If you take away all special team td's, pick six's, and fumble returns for td's on year. GC defense averaged giving up 18.5 points a game. I wouldn't call that being LIT UP all year. 24 turnovers on defense was not too bad either. Good Luck to Terry.
