I watched Biloxi when they played Meridian earlier in the season. I thought they had some talent on the team. In the second half we wore down their DL. After they played us, they beat GC and I thought they were capable of making a run but it just has not materialized. Biloxi was a power house in football back in the 1960’s and even earlier during the Big 8 days. Meridian had a great rivalry with them for many years prior to 1980.1 point

As the decades passed and the town of Biloxi was reshaped from a blue-collar, fishing and shrimping work force to a tourist/entertainment driven economy, so went the identity of those hard-nosed teams sixty years ago. Biloxi has been an afterthought for most of post integration Mississippi.1 point
