This matter doesn’t do justice to what has transpired in the WBCSD since the consolidation. This time, it just is impacting Shaw and this current leadership decided to take it upon themselves (one person) to bring attention to a termination that if proven to be warranted, was suppose to be conducted behind the scenes.
I have told people for years about the constant lack of unfairness, professionalism, and excessive greed I’ve seen occur in this district behind close doors from the administration.
These school communities are really in a state of emergency in the WBCSD.
I received backlash when I spoke on the way these extreme decisions would not only sabotage West Bolivar athletics but the entire district.
People laughed and mocked West Bolivar on here and talked as if it was an anomaly. They would discredit WB and say there was no talent left and many other negative things about the football program.
Two games into the season for Shaw and based on the outcomes of the performances the district administration makes a punitive decision to fire an entire coaching staff.
What about the last 7 years at West Bolivar High that our student athletes have had to endure and suffer through?
This kind of stuff is a result of internal systemic failure that has gone unchecked and has infested the core.
It goes beyond the football field. They (Jackson) has to clean the entire ship now and start over.
