Minnesota knocks the University of California at Los Angeles from the unbeaten ranks 27-24.

Thats terrible! Man its 10 games on a schedule and shouldnt any team with under 5 wins make the playoffs! Now we’re seeing Noxapater (3-6) at Mt Olive (2-7) in the first round like what sense does that make! I dont want to be harsh but neither team should be in the playoffs! Just do away with 7A and go back to 6A and everything should be good!

The new 1A for next year everyone makes the playoffs but 2. 6 regions with 4 teams and 2 regions with 5 teams. Literally could be 8 with 0-10 records, 8 with 1-9 records.

Well I'm going to go watch the Poplarville-Northeast Lauderdale slaughter tonight. Northeast Lauderdale is 1-9, 0-3 in district. They made it because it was a 4 team region. This thing will get over quickly.

I don’t think State has played JSU since Jans’ first year. But yes, all games matter and State has not been immune to some egg laying against lesser teams in recent years.

Jackson State just beat Tulane last night and if I remember correctly, they gave us fits last year. So they may not be a cake walk. We better be ready to play. All games matter when it comes to the NCAAT.

Possibly. Same thing was said last yr after PRC upset Picayune. Hattiesburg isn't no where as strong as last season. But i dont think PRC is either.

OG definitely appears to have the easiest road to South State given that Gulfport, Meridian & Brandon are all on the other side of the bracket & they’ll have home field advantage. D’ville and Petal will duke it out while OG should sale though round 1. The other side of that 7A South bracket is much more interesting to me
