Somebody post them. 2a south looks like this Wilkinson County @ Scott Central Loyd Star @ Puckett Lake @ Amite County Newton @ Wesson Clarkdale @ East Marion Enterprise Clarke @ Perry Central North Forrest @ Mize Collins @ Heidelberg Region 6 is BY FAR the toughest region in 2A. Don’t be surprised if you see Enterprise beat Perry Central, and don’t be surprised if East Marion struggles with Clarkdale. I think Puckett and Loyd Star could go either way. I think Amite County wins in a somewhat decent game with Lake. Scott Central will crush Wilkinson. Wesson will crush Newton.

Yes, and that started with the numbers from the 2023-25 reclassification cycle. Here is the link found on the MHSAA page. https://www.misshsaa.com/2022/11/03/2023-25-reclassification-enrollment-numbers/ At the top of the list before schools are listed, this indicates grades 9-11 are counted. There is a pretty steep drop off in numbers among several schools.

So is Gentry. That’s 150 miles.

Remember that they are only posting grades 9-11 now. It used to be you would submit your whole 9-12 enrollment.

This would be a LITTLE more reasonable.

It’s possible to put schools in a region they don’t have 125-150 mile region games.

Auburn at Ole Miss - OM is a 12.5 point home favorite. Auburn has the best road win in the sport so far, but has been super underwhelming otherwise. I honestly don’t think OM has a ton of issues in this one, especially in Oxford. I don’t think Auburn can score enough to keep up. I have OM winning 37-21. State at Texas - life after Kamario (for this season at least) officially begins. A lot of rumblings AJ Swann might get the start at QB. I don’t see it making much of a difference though. Texas should win this easily, something like 38-7. The following two weeks are far more important games for State and for Lebby, IMO. Florida vs Georgia - game being played in Atlanta this season due to construction in Jacksonville. I don’t think Georgia is losing again in the regular season, and I think they win this by about 14. South Carolina at Oklahoma - Shane Beamer is a cat with 9 lives and he’s used 7 or 8 of them. I’m taking SC in this one. I think they are figuring it out at the right time and now their schedule lines up pretty nicely the rest of the way for them to get to 7 or 8 wins. I also think Oklahoma stinks. Mizzou at Arkansas - Look at Arkansas with their 3 wins! Unfortunately I don’t think any more are coming this season. USM at ULM - Eagles get their second win in a row. Maybe the tide is starting to turn for them just a little bit.
