Still can’t really tell how good Ole Miss is. A&M is terrible, and Mizzou was a stylistic nightmare for Florida. So I don’t believe Mizzou is worth the hype they have. OM should be about 10 points better than Mizzou if both teams play perfect.

I've never known of a coach being fired for running up the score, but I do know a supt who would question a HC after a huge margin of victory, say 68-0. He wouldn't question him in an accusatory fashion, just sort of "Hey, what happened? Were they that terrible?" His district had several schools, so he couldn't be at every game & be familiar with the opponents of each team, so he would ask questions.

And also Itawamba very cookyness and not a disciplined team and just a regular season team not build for the playoffs and they might go home 1st rd this year that Houston lost might have cost them to win Reg 2-4A Division again and it a lot of pressure on Itawamba already now and Houston got under Itawamba skin last night and fight almost broke out in that game.

The thing is am mostly intrigued about is who's up and who's down and what region they will be in especially those schools within 35 miles north and south of I-20.

Any info on dare of release, numbers.

i spoke with a few school officials last night.

My work schedule didn't allow me to go to a game. Since my cousin in law is the principal at Raleigh I might can get their number but they have never came forward with a correct number. They g haw around it like your not suppose to know until its sprung on you. Believe me nothing for 2026-27 school year has not been posted on MDE website. They were not posted last year until January my guess is everyone will be on vacation late November and December. I can do the research once it is posted or you can simply Google the phrase " school name followed by ms, 2026-27 enrollment numbers. It will come up but I don't know where those numbers are coming from.

Those exact numbers are only known by MHSAA, MDE as requested by MHSAA to verify as being correct, and the school principal, AD, and counselor.

Binoculars? You can’t be seriously comparing that to actual replay footage. Seriously dude. Reevaluate your devotion to the program & accept reality. Bad calls happen. That’s life. You should play so well that some random bad calls don’t lose you the game. Multiple terrible series of decisions shouldn’t happen. That’s the issue here. If you truly saw the TD the refs didn’t give OG via the actual replay footage, you’d understand my post. Refs at the Petal game were bad too, but Brandon can’t blame the refs for their own kicker. And neither can Meridian.

I was at the game with binoculars and Vance had every reason to complain. Meridian had numerous big plays, first downs called back by bogus flags, bad spots, fumbles not called, etc.

Try again. If you watched the livestream and saw any of the replays, then you know the truth. Refs got tired of listening to Vance moan and whine so they stopped calling penalties on Meridian. At least the refs didn’t take any points off the board for Meridian - but they sure did for OG. Go watch the replays. It’s all there.

The refs were not one sided, they missed a few holding calls on og especially that last drive. Meridian beat themselves

I think Leflore County more than likely will breeze through 1A north. 1A south is a toss up. Simmons I think is the favorite, but Stringer and Nanih Waiya both might be good enough to give them some competition.
