Right now Region 5 and Region 6 has 6 schools each in their area. I can see sending St Andrew's to Region 3 and Union to Region 4. I have not looked at the travel.

10-3 in 2022 and 13-1 in 2023. He earned a pass for the 2 win season in 2024 I’d say. 5-7 last year, shaky but I guess FSU held on for this year to see if he’d build on the improvement from 24. The question I have, did FSU extend his contract this past offseason knowing his seat was hot?

Think I agree. Would be the only way to avoid a 2 hour district game.
-
Will Brian Kelly find a new “famahleeee” at FSU?
-
Region 1 - 6 Region 2 - 6 Region 3 - 5 Region 4 - 7 It's a shame the 6 Jackson area teams can't form a region
-
Region 3 Yazoo County Humphreys County Amanda Elzy O'Bannon Region 4 Winona Choctaw County Noxabee County Union Trying to justify where they send Nettleton without Aberdeen (2A) to Region 1 or Region 4. Then if they send North Tippah to Region 2 I can't justify sending let's say North Panola or Rosa Fort to Region 3 to play Yazoo County travel wise. The director got the authority to dive 5A-7A into 5/6/7 school splits. If he has the authority in 4A-1A then we are about to see some wacky 4/5/6 school split in those classes per region. It is what it is with 7 classes.
-
Region 1 5 teams Region 2 7 teams Region 3 6 teams Region 4 6 teams
-
If the mhsaa refuses to allow 6 teams in region 7, I think the south regions end up looking like this: Region 5: Scott Central Puckett Pelahatchie Wesson Mize Region 6: Philadelphia Lake Newton Enterprise Bay Springs Region 7: Loyd Star Bogue Chitto Enterprise Lincoln Amite Co Wilkinson Co Region 8: East Marion Collins North Forrest Perry Central Heidelberg Region 8 would be atrocious in baseball if this happened. I hope they do the right thing and just allow region 7 to have 6 teams.
-
7 teams from the coast 6 teams from the Jackson area 5 teams from Memphis suburbs 2 teams from the Hattiesburg area 2 teams from our major universities 1 team from Tupelo 1 team from Meridian
-
A petal loss to northwest rankin Thursday night will knock them out of the playoffs.
-
Overweight i would agree. But ive seen officials in their 50s and 60s who are in great shape.
-
Ive been on the sidelines at Hattiesburg games before and have heard an official ask another official about a rule interpretation on a play because he wasn't sure.
-
who is the fourth team in regions 3 and 4? Region three loses Thomas E Edwards. So I"m assuming they just keep their four? Region four would lose Aberdeen and Nettleton here. So Noxubee, Winona and Choctaw remain. Who's the fourth team?
-
Sideline room is tight at PRC as well. I think it’s compliant, but it’s tight like it is at Purvis.
-
I am just saying an older overweight person doesn't really needing to be running the sidelines on a deep out pass or run down the sidelines. I haven't really seen one myself.
-
I think the rulwme is like 10 ft from sideline to fence.
-
Were all 41 accepted penalties? If not there was more than 45. I know of about 5 that were declined
- Yesterday
-
National record for penalties in a game is 45 WJ and Hattiesburg had 41, plus one that was waved. Plus the 2 no calls for 12 men on the field
-
that true
-
He had it going on til the QB got hurt. sounds familiar
-
Why would a young guy know nothing?
-
should have been gone 2 or 3 years ago, been holding Florida State back all this time.
-
Here's the thing about officials. Would you rather have an older veteran official who more than likely knows the entire rulebook backwards and forwards or a younger less experienced one who probably doesnt know everything. Especially with playoffs coming up
