PigskinPrognosticator
One the 5-4A what ifs is wrong. If Morton and Mendenhall win: 1. Mendenhall 2. Forest 3. NE Jones 4. Quitman quitman is locked in as 4 seed. Other 3 seeds TBD

PigskinPrognosticator
@Panther2015If forest loses and mendenhall wins, forest, Quitman and nej will be tied at 2-2. Forest would win the tiebreaker due to having the better record vs mendenhall. Nej would then win the tiebreaker due to head to head against Quitman. there is no possibly way for Quitman to finish anywhere but 4th based on any outcomes this week. Rebel Bert
Tie Breaker 1 Head to Head 2 How they all 4 did against Morton 3 12 point break down among the 4 tied teams 4 Point differential against Morton 5 Fewest points in Region plays all 4 games 6 Coin Flip Since he is not using points it's not going to #3. It all hinges on Morton/Forest winner/loser and NEJ/Mendenhall winner loser.
PigskinPrognosticator
It will be a 3 way tiebreaker If Mendenhall and Morton win: Mendenhall 3-1 Forest 2-2, NEJ 2-2, Quitman 2-2 1. Head to head- all tied teams would be 1-1 2. How all 3 did against higher seed who would mendenhall-forest 1-0, Quitman 0-1, nej 0-1 so Forest wins this tiebreaker and would be 2 seed. revert to head to head, nej is 3 via win over quitman Edited October 29 by PigskinPrognosticator

PigskinPrognosticator
Bullet 2 puts 3 and 4 into play. Bullet 4 is correct but 3 is not. The correct version of bullet 3 is my above post of the 3way between forest nej and Quitman at 2-
Rebel Bert
Bullet point 3 is a 3 way tie for second between Quitman, Forest, NEJ on the 12 point system 2 Quitman -1+12=+11 3 Forest +12-12=0 4 NEJ +1-12=-

Rebel Bert
First 2 rounds higher seed host. 1 host 4, 2 host 3, 1 host 2, 3 and 4 host round 2 if they win. Round 3 by then someone has had 2 home games and someone has had a road game and host round 3. Otherwise Higher Region hosts.
pancho
I was just asked if region 3 is higher than region 4.

So that never changes. The higher regions are for 7A-5A #1 & #3. For 4A-1A #1 & #5.
Rebel Bert
That's why u never see a small school championship North and South played in Jackson to Memphis area with exception of Charleston, Winona, and a few others. It's always Tupelo and Meridian area.

Rebel Bert
Region 8-2A If Collins wins by 12 the tiebreaker goes to #4 Points against NF. #1 Heidelberg +58 tie is broken #2 Mize +13 beat Collins #3 Collins +27 Point 5 is total region points allowed #1 Heidelberg 0 #2 Mize 93 #3 Collins 43 Ironic that Collins has to win by 12 and hold under 50 to get #2 seed. Probably will never come to this scenario.
