I would be game planning for Gautier already and I would not play #7, #2, #6, #4 and several others more than a series or 2 at most. just avoid unnecessary injuries. great game to get even more backups more experience. I could care less who wins this one...NEXT week matters. if all that makes this a "trap" game i don't care. undefeated has nothing to do with winning the championship but playoff seeding might. Dante definitely needs to rest this week. He had an ice wrap on his ankle after the game on Friday night. I think he will be close to 100% for Gautier if he sits out this week. That's probably just a bunch of white noise. Our defense will be up to the task. They have played great this year and they will be able to stop the pass. They laid their egg week 1 on a muddy field at Provine but have not been slowed since. Their passing attack is better to me this year than last. They have 3 receivers that all are threats to take it the distance when they catch it. They are quick concepts designed to get the ball out relatively quick. They are also running the ball more effectively this year as well. They have a nice RB #21 who is quick and does well when given the chance to run. Offensively we have athletes all over thats gonna make plays but our rb #4 will for sure be the main factor for us, he's been our biggest weapon so far. We can pretty much score on most defenses but this Tupelo defense is concerning because they're much bigger and better than Grenada. I'd say our biggest weakness is our secondary MC, Brandon, and Starkville exposed that and we give up way too many big plays especially on 3rd down.
