msaisbandkid
Should be released to the public soon but are out. Rumor on the street is that Parklane will be replaced by Madison St Joe or Starkville Academy in 6A. If anyone actually knows anything, I would like to know. s1nglewing
Good to see a couple going back to 11 man. I assume Park Place is going 8 and Hillcrest is done with the independent schedule
FBdude
The numbers of these classifications are an absolute joke. This league has fallen a long way. I realize some of the bigger schools are very good but what 8man has done to 3 & 4 A is ridiculous.

s1nglewing
Speaking of 11 man, too bad that NSA and Tunica, and Newton for that matter, don't have the huevos to step up
TheAnswer
8 Man is a huge joke now. When you have 95 boys in 8th-11th grade and you choose to play 8 Man, that is pathetic.
MSSportsGuy
I get why many of the truly small schools would opt for 8 man but it's too easy of a cop out for some who just don't want the hassle of playing 11 man.

Also props to Manchester for bumping up to 11 man.

TheAnswer
It’s out. They are accepting appeals from schools wishing to change districts then it will released publicly.

I am sure if your borderline classes such as bottom 5 top 5 maybe you appeal. Otherwise no one should appeal unless your numbers were wrongly reported. As far as region goes well who knows. Rebel Bert
Just now, Rebel Bert said: ok That may have alot to do with 10 non football schools in NE Ms for 1A not being able to have a number greater than say 3 non football with 4 football. Then sending some schools from the Delta towards Starkville vice versa. You may have a Puckett, Raleigh, Mize, or Collins heading Southwest towards Brookhaven in Region 7. Nothing will surprise me.
