what wrong with West Point

we know West Point is 0-2 they not performance good what the problem with West Point not showing up winining these games we know their non conf games been very tough

It happens. You can't stay on top and be dominant forever. It may not be in our lifetime, but at some point teams like Picayune Oak Grove Jeff Davis Co Starkville Brandon and Madison Central will experience a very subpar season.

yea you right it could be a down year for West Point we see what they do when they get into Division play coming up

all I know it gonna be a long season for West Point they might do good when they get into division play if not somebody gonna win their division

I guess they just haven’t quite recovered from the State Championship game.  It’ll definitely make the 5A North playoffs extremely interesting this year.

It has happened to WP before.  West Point was down the whole decade of the 90's.

you right it a hangover from the championship last year they might go home early in the playoffs or somehow they miss the playoff that will be very shocking they do

They actually keep the Clydesdales down here in Pearl River, LA.  So no they definitely wouldn’t be in West Point LOL!

You can try to stick a fork in West Point at you own peril but that would be ill advised. They have the players and are well coached. They believe in their system and it is a proven to be effective  at winning championships. I believe they will be around in late November.

Nothing against their program, but as long as they are producing the type of bologna fans they have I am gonna keep dogging them .

West Point is on an 0-3 streak that many say is really 0-4.

Yeah I had some fun with their fans before state championship game last year. They were very cocky but were humble after the game. If there is a team that can bounce back its them, they have the skins on the wall, but it does seem like there are definitely more teams in the mix and they are the prohibitive favorite that they have been in previous seasons.

I am glad you met some humble wp fans after the game. gives me hope.

 

i sought them out to be friendly as well. they were right there around the Picayune tent. One of them told me " Picayune's alright, but ya'll don't play anyone down there. I don't think you will score a point against us." I could not change his mind that we had any chance at all. We talked about 10 minutes - mostly about West Point, of course. So, I asked if he would be there after the game so we can talk about the game. He said "hell yeah, I be here! You damned right I be here!"

 

So i go straight there after the game, no hanging around in the stadium or anything, and camp is breaking down and they are beating feet to get out of there. I see him getting in his truck and I am calling his name, and he hears me. He turns his head and sees me not 10 feet away - then quickly turns his head back and would not look again. Couldn't even offer a handshake. Sat there looking away until his partner was ready and then just drove off. another cowardly bragger in a long list of them i have met so far from wp. I would never paint all WP fans with the same brush, but any crap I hand the nice ones on here, their fellow fans have paid for on their behalf in full.

 

I have no doubt WP has the ability to right the ship - but i hope they don't.

For a WP fan to say Picayune doesn't play anyone down here is just in denial about how tough 5a south is. Yes WP has come out on top more than anyone in South 5a has. But if you really look at it WP is the team that really had not played anyone. That's why they make it every year. Down south Picayune Laurel West Jones Wayne County East Central and Hattiesburg are all capable of getting there. Though it does seem like the gap is getting tighter in 5a north.

Were those the guys cooking close to the hospital's tent? I, like you could not get any back and forth going. So I guess they give better than they receive. They have been on a bad streak for their likings.

hey, i was in bassfield last week. spoke to a ton of people. they got gold balls too, every one of them was friendly. (well except for applehead and his girlfriend who were here a few years back. they were kind of delusional.)

Appletalk was a legend on here a few years back. He gave those Louisville folks a hard time. He did go overboard a few times. Like they say you want a friend bring a puppy .
