Reasons Why Enterprise Won't Win State

JDC just being JDC and having won 3 state titles in the past five years will not help them this year. Mancuso cannot win state titles or even games by himself. In years where he doesnt have top talent he doesnt win state. Enterprise will have more speed than some people may think. If Enterprise and JDC do meet again in the playoffs JDC just being JDC and Mancuso will not beat Enterprise nor will Enterprise's alleged lack of speed. JDC will have a big drop off as they did in 2018 and 2020 after winning state titles. The players mostly responsible for JDC winning state have graduated. Enterprise may not win State but JDC sure wont either.

That wingT dont have a drop off. JDC will have 3 backs rush over 150yds that game

I have had the privlage of watching JDC and my wifes- boyfriends -mother has a son on the enterprise team. Im just telling you now that JDC wont allow on single TD.

saw 2 young RB last year for JDC, both as fast as Hartzog but not as big. What you must understand is JDC doesn't rebuild, they reload year after year. They are trained in a champions mentality year after year. Their D will be solid as well. Don't sleep on Raleigh either. Best wishes to all teams this year.

But JDC doesnt win state championships every year; ever since 2017 JDC has never repeated as state champs; in 2020 they were bounced in the first round of the playoffs; Hartzog and Booth who mostly beat Enterprise last year are gone. This will be JDC's off year. JDC not going to state this year.

Raleigh, Magee, Hazlehurst, Wesson and Crystal Springs will bounce Enterprise in the first round. Clarkdale, Morton, Union, and Forest could bounce them in Region play. The only way they win is a) any school just has a bad night, b) Meridian refs control the game against the opponent.

I am a life long Enterprise resident and fan. I have watched many many many hours of Enterprise football. I have seen and was a part of the great teams of the 80's, I have watched all the film I could find from the LJ Davis era. Enterprise has had its ups and downs. Probably more downs than we like since the late 90's and 2000's than ups. Many people don't know but some may, we went through a redistricting phase during that time and it really effected our football program. Our coaches have done a really good job with our kids. Like I said our kids are always gritty and they will always give you 110% and occasionally we will have a year like last year. This is not the SEC like some people think it is and you really can't treat it the same way. Currently we have a really solid coaching staff that has grown a lot and will push our kids They will win some games they aren't supposed to and they will lose to teams we don't match up well with but they will compete and will not quit. We had a great year last year. JDC was no joke and is no joke this year. They are a very talented team. Look at their history, it speaks for itself. They are a fun team to watch, but we do not match up well with them, but our kids gave it all they had against them and will give it all they have if we play them again. That is who we are. Enterprise has a very supportive fan base. They love their football here, always has and always will just like most other schools in the state. That is what makes Friday nights fun. I have no clue what Enterprise will do this year, I expect them to compete and be gritty like they always are. I expect our coaches to push and guide our players to the best of their ability. Win or lose I will be there cheering them on when they win and picking them up when they fall. I will not boast about the good times and I will not cry about the bad times.  Life is to short for that. Just enjoy the fact that we get watch one of the greatest games ever on Friday nights. Oh and if by some chance we make it to the big one, that would be a blessing. LOL.
