PigskinPrognosticator
This district doesn’t seem to have a favorite: Forest 5-0: untested but beating smaller schools like they should Quitman: undisciplined but athletes galore Mendenhall: up and down week to week Morton: offense is outstanding, defense will struggle against a competent offense NE Jones: undersized but well coached. Will struggle against the more athletic teams in region play ill say 1. Quitman 2. Forest 3. Mendenhall 4. Morton 5. NE Jones
TheTruth
Very competitive district this year. Could finish the way you’ve predicted or could finish in reverse order. Time will tell. One prediction I will make is NE Jones will not be the odd man out. They will make the playoffs.
PigskinPrognosticator
Forest and Quitman have seemed to have separated themselves as top 2. Quitman looked great offensively this past week while Forest was outstanding on defense. This week it will be Quitman going to NE Jones and Morton hosting Mendenhall. Rebel Bert
Quitman can take the lead this week with a win. Morton and Mendenhall loser is on outside looking in.
PigskinPrognosticator
Big one in Forest Friday to possibly decide the district. Forest has played a very weak schedule so far. TheTruth
As I previously stated NE Jones WILL NOT miss the playoffs. I think Forest is the best overall TEAM in the district. That being said I’m taking NE Jones in the upset…. 14-13.

Been to Forest too many times and have seen it everytime. You have to jump on them early with a kickoff return for 6. Then continously score early taking the refs out of it. Jakejasper78
I see Forest dropping their last three district games of the season. I don't think their defense has been tested looking at the teams they have played. Morton has struggled defensively all season and has a very young team but I think they will still make the playoffs. PigskinPrognosticator
Mendenhall with a huge 24-7 win on the road at Quitman shakes things up. Forest smothered NEJ. Much closer game than score indicated. Forest adds a late TD to stretch things out. Forest D is as good as the stats indicate. NEJ couldn’t block them up front. Game may have been different if NEJs best back isn’t out even though the freshman fill in played really well and will be a great one in a few years for NE Jones. Forest in the drivers seat Mendenhall/NEJ winner will be 2nd Quitman will be a dangerous 4 seed barring they miss out if Morton pulls an upset the last two weeks. very competitive division.. Deonte3455
Before the season I thought Quitman would be undefeated up to this point.

Its too bad that Teddy Dyess didnt become coach at Quitman they need discipline and good coaching they have the talent to win 4A South but dont have the coaching. PigskinPrognosticator
Region should come into focus this week. Quitman @ Forest - Forest can wrap up the region with a win. Quitman is woefully under achieving with the athletes on the roster. I like Forest by a couple scores to secure the 1 seed. Morton @ NE Jones- NEJ wraps up a playoff spot with a win. Arguably, their best offensive and defensive players will not play due to injury. Still like NEJ to get enough stops to win a high scoring game. PigskinPrognosticator
Morton is eliminated from playoff contention. a lot tiebreakers in play next week. Forest controls their own destiny for the region title. parity reigns in this group.
