He is better than Hancock. He took the county from a D to a B level. Hancock took it back to a D level. I am not for either one. They could have appointed a retired Superintendent from Rankin County. Raleigh has improved some, but taylorsville’s scores aren’t very good. There curriculum isn’t the same either. If Tville was taking the same tests as mize, their scores would be even worse. They make Tville take easier curriculum to make their numbers look better. Mize has the hardest curriculum, which is easier than the actual state testing. Then when state testing comes up, it’s a breeze for those students compared to their regular curriculum. That makes their state testing look better. Schools don’t actually teach academics anymore.
