We'll be itching for something to do come that Saturday. We'll have one of those goofy Thursday night games along with most of the rest of Mississippi. Now as far as this week goes, just treat the trip to Soso as a home game. We did that in 2019 and it worked like a champ. I want to close this thread out by saying I am sick to my stomach about the way our season ended. I haven't had this feeling since 2018 when West Jones boat raced back to prominence. I never posted my actual predictions on here. I actually had Hattiesburg playing in south state championship game. Most will call me obnoxious but I'm just a fan. A real fan is when a loss stings so hard that you refuse to attend another game not Hattiesburg, or could be selfish rather. On the contrary I believe I have a keen eye for the sport but there is some bias blurs mixed in. For the most part the season was a success. Over .500, region champs,#1 seed, brown jug, and a first round exit as #1 seed. See that. For all we see, the bad always outweighs the good. I have high expectations for next year.... as always. But seriously, the continuity we have at QB, on the line, stud reciever in the making Tristan Keys, Tavares Wade back from injury. We have the pieces to try this thing again. No this is not a here we go again moment. Defense will need to be revamped for the most part. We'll have around 36+/- freshmen coming in next season, and another 36+/- a year after that. I won't give any major predictions for next season. As I live out of state, I'm not too far in the know as I once was.
