On paper, it checks all the boxes of a great job. Facilities are solid, plenty of athletes. However it is a place known for massive underachievement. I was told they have had some players poached by nearby schools, so having success early on will be key in keeping kids in the program. I think I read he came to Oak Grove with Barr in 2001. So he has at least 20 years in. I believe he has some years in at Lumberton as well. Sort of my sentiments with St. Martin. No real success . A lot of up and down. No real reason to promote an assistant in those situations.
