As far as I know French Camp elementary won't be participating in MHSAA athletics. And Piney Woods is not the only boarding school in the state. If they find that having to play in 2A or 3A is not in their student body's best interests there isn't any reason for them to not choose a different path. French Camp Academy is a boarding school as well. Tuition is scholarship based through Christian organizations, charities, donations, and I would assume their are families who pay out of pocket as well. and yes French Camp Elementary is a public school and park of CCSD, as far as how the two work together I do not know.
