I expect this draw a lot of assistant names at bigger schools or a HFC from a smaller classification program. Hard to imagine a successful coach at the 5-7A level coming to take this job on. A name to keep an eye out for is Forrest Williams. He has applied at several jobs that were open on the coast the last few years and word is that he has been wanting to get back to Mississippi. Only name I have heard that has put in is their former DC, Robert Browne being a legit candidate. A lot of parents in the community love him.

Just curios. I have always heard that school hopping is extremely bad down on the coast. Is there any truth to that?

It has been pretty common over the last 10-15 years, especially at the middle school level. A lot of the communities are fairly close together and it is easy to move around. You still have some home grown talent but the majority I would say lived in another city or more and are move ins. It seems to have picked up a good bit here lately with recruiting at the HS level has grown.

Would be a good spot for OS offensive coordinator and former USM player Tracy Lampley.

Think Lampley could be waiting on Wayne Co to come open? I just cant see Hankins being retained or perhaps wanting to remain at WC if this upcoming season is anything like last season

No doubt it is a serious problem. The fact the MHSAA doesn't back its own rules allows it all to happen. Also, when schools don't verify residence they invite these situations.
