I'm setting the over/under for next years Indians at 6.5 wins. I'm taking the under.

That's just a round about way of saying that they are going to do the exact same thing next year as they did this year.  The schedule should be pretty much the same with the home and away reversed.  If they get the same results next year as they got this year, I'll be surprised.  They didn't go get this coach so that they could be mediocre again.  Will they be?  It's possible, but I think the odds will be greater for them to get to 7+ wins than it will be for them to lay an egg and get less than 6 wins.

Maroon you are correct but I'm a little suspicious on the hire. He bailed on Orange Beach after 1-8 year . Guess they were talent hindered like he's used to at the Prattvilles and etc. Maybe he can get more out of the Biloxi group.

Well there's going to be a risk with any hire, doesn't matter what the credentials look like.  Orange Beach is a brand new school and they started playing football in 2020.  It was a bad year for him no doubt about that, but he was able to post a winning record with Orange Beach in 2022, so maybe he lost a lot of talent from that team.

They were gutted by graduation after he guided them to the playoffs for the first time in their history in '22.  Dubose was building for the future by playing a significant number of underclassmen this year and they took their lumps.

There's nothing suspicious about the hire when your program has been in the wilderness for most of fifty years and you've snagged a three time state champion, particularly in Alabama where football -- broadly speaking -- is coached/played at a higher level than in Mississippi.

Biggest question for him will be can he get the players to move in like he did with Pratville and Central Phenix. If he can get some talent in there, I think he could have success.

I dont believe any parent in the Gport, Ocean Springs, Harrison Central area is gonna say "wow I want my child playing for this guy". Lets move to Biloxi.
