Picayune vs d'Iberville

Sounds like Picayune has another great team this season! Warriors strength is definitely their defense, but their offense is finding their identity without someone named Walley in the backfield! Should be a good test for both teams before District opens up! I really wish this would've been last week to give both teams time to heal from the bruises that they will definitely get after this one!

I'm picking my Warriors at home but I wouldn't be surprised if Picayune beats another 6A team on their non-district schedule.  Hope both teams come out of this one somewhat healthy!

This is another in a line of games that will show us just who the top teams on the Coast are before entering district play. Ocean Springs answered the bell, and now these two are the presumed best of the rest. I think that the d’Iberville defense can slow down that Tide run game better than Gulfport did, but the Warrior offense had better improve. I’ll go with d’Iberville.

Nasty weather in a game between two teams that throw the ball about 5 times per game tops anyway. Setting up for some good old fashioned smash mouth football! Too bad it's on turf! Regardless, it should be fun! Rumor is d'ville may be without some starters, due to minor injuries and deciding to rest for district. Smart but I hope the game doesn't get influenced too much due to missing starters for either side. Regardless, I know both teams will be playing for pride and to stay undefeated!  Go Warriors!

It was pretty good ball game tonight. Nothing fancy on offense just a defensive battle. The warriors are the biggest team we have played this year size wise. Picayune has a young team this year without much size but they gave them warriors all they wanted for most the game. Good luck warriors the rest of the year.
