CK1
I think the administration at Winona will fight a move back to region 3. That region doesn’t travel well and the competition is not there year in year out.

Rebel Bert
Current Region 5-3A Pisgah Quitman SE Lauderdale St Andrew's Union Add Clarkdale Current Region 6-3A JDC Magee Mclaurin Raleigh Seminary Add Mendenhall Any thoughts here: Doesn't Seminary or JDC go to Region 8? Does St Andrew's or Union go North? Do we get Noxubee County come to Region 5 and Pisgah/St Andrew's go to Region 3?
Rebel Bert
I am thinking now that: 1 Nettleton goes to Region 1 with 6 schools 2 Region 3 and 4 will have 4 teams each. 3 Region 5 and 6 will have 6 teams each. 4 Region 8 will have 4 football teams and OLA. 5 Otherwise both Union to Region 4 and St Andrew's to Region 3 are possibilities. Region three loses Thomas E Edwards. So I"m assuming they just keep their four? Region four would lose Aberdeen and Nettleton here. So Noxubee, Winona and Choctaw remain. Who's the fourth team? Region 3 Yazoo County Humphreys County Amanda Elzy O'Bannon Region 4 Winona Choctaw County Noxabee County Union Trying to justify where they send Nettleton without Aberdeen (2A) to Region 1 or Region 4. Then if they send North Tippah to Region 2 I can't justify sending let's say North Panola or Rosa Fort to Region 3 to play Yazoo County travel wise. The director got the authority to dive 5A-7A into 5/6/7 school splits. If he has the authority in 4A-1A then we are about to see some wacky 4/5/6 school split in those classes per region. It is what it is with 7 classes.

If they're going to have three five team regions and a four team region, it makes zero sense to not have St. Andrews in three. Which is why they won't do that. It'll be 6 5 4

Region 2 is 5 teams. Region 3 gets Winona and Choctaw County for 5 teams. Noxubee goes to Region 5. We get a new Region 6 that includes Yazoo County, St Andrew's, Pisgah, McLaurin, Magee, Mendenhall, and Raleigh. Region 7 stays. Region 8 adds JDC and Seminary. But somebody is going to have a sucky drive no matter how you shake it out. It would be the same amount of driving overall if seminary were in region 5. Their closest drive would be 45 minutes to Raleigh, the rest would be an hour and a half. If St. Andrews and Pisgah are both in region 4 that would at least give you an opponent only 30 minutes apart. I think this gives the best the best overall balance. No matter how you paired them, somebody is gonna get a bad draw.
