Biloxi vs. Picayune

Picayune finally gets a home game and Biloxi finally has to travel this week.  Surprisingly Biloxi is a rather uncommon opponent for Picayune, but Biloxi was a regular opponent for Picayune back in the old Big 8 days.  What should Picayune expect from Biloxi this week?  I see where they lost to Holmes County Central by 3 in week one and beat Pascagoula by 3 last week.

Biloxi can make a big statement over the next two weeks playing 6a south state finals participants from last season Picayune and Hattiesburg.

I just looked at their schedule.  That's a brutal 3 game stretch for them:  @ Picayune, @ Hattiesburg, & @ Ocean Springs.

Tough game for Picayune this week. They are gonna have to play 4 quarters of football, not just 2 like the first 2 games. I hope the receivers practice catching the football this week. Picayune had some weak spots on defense that was exposed last Friday. I'm sure they will have all that fixed this week. I'm looking forward to a game at home. Maybe we got the rust knocked off the last 2 weeks.

We’re gonna have to have some players step up.  I think they will, but I also think they let the wind fall out the sails last week as well.  With finally being back at home hopefully we’ll get a complete 48 minute ballgame.  If they play as hard as #32 would want them to play, we’ll be just fine.

@ArcherI’m genuinely curious to see your thoughts are on Biloxi.  What were the problems they gave Pascagoula and is that something that can be mitigated by a future opponent?

Sorry, I never noticed the notification.  Wasn't ignoring you and couldn't have helped with a "scouting report".  Went to the OS/Petal game that night.

No worries.  Picayune managed to get the W.  Wasn't easy, but they couldn't stop the run.  You might as well come to OS/Picayune Friday night.  Should be a good one.
