This years petal team seems to be above expectations from last year. With a few key returning players, I look for Petal to make some noise, and even be a for sure playoff team

I hope you are trolling right now. If you are being serious, you need to be tested for whatever it is you having been smoking. LOL

I will be giving a personal statement on all area teams. Petal just happened to be first on the list. Stay tuned for teams to come

With the new classification and four teams from each district being included in the playoffs, Petal may well have a chance. Bad news is that they weren’t dropped to 6A, but will play in 7A against one of the best groups in the state. We’ll see how improved the Panthers are.

I see Petal taking their talents to the coast. Playing us, St. Martin, and Hancock. I think these will be some competitive games.

you do know Petal is in Region 3 7a dont you?

What key players return?

Every position group will have an experienced returned except QB. The defensive side should see more upside than the offense. Caden Burger will be an athlete that could change games, Just not completely sure where he will see the majority of his snaps

Brandon + Oak Grove + Meridian + Northwest Rankin = Massive log jam for Petal.

Agreed, but Petal should keep it close with NWR and Meridian. Last years game with OG could have ended up tighter than most expected

If that's the case, it leaves no room for error in regards to Petal.  I don't think Marcus Boyles has it on his agenda to lose to Petal.
