But an argument that a QB isn't good b/c of the offense he leads is like saying that Judkins wouldn't be a good RB on another team. It's a red herring. David44
Other than the 1st drive, MS did absolutely nothing. And they had great field position. Rogers is one dimensional, no threat or willingness to run. And ole miss knows it. Edited November 25, 2022 by David44

I’m a state fan and I hope he plays well for now on but I just don’t see him being a game changer. I definitely think another QB could go have the same results he has had in the air raid. Im ready for state to move on from Rogers
MSTSatchmo
He’s good for the system. Usually makes good decisions. He doesn’t like contact and sometimes holds onto the ball too long. When WRs aren’t open he can’t run. It would be interesting to see Leach’s offense with a QB who was a threat to take off and run. Do you cover the backs out of the backfield or the QB?

I would just like to see a QB that has a little fight in them. towards the end of the second quarter he stepped up in the pocket pretty well, but most of the time he looks like a deer in headlights

That’s seems to be the story all season. State’s DC looks really frustrated sometimes on those 3 and outs.
