choctawman Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 (edited) I do not believe I have ever seen so many penalties in the Marshall, Kirk game. You also had an ejecction.The camera caught the referee giving both teams a tongue lashing. Maybe instead of teaching the players plays, they should teach them the rules. Very sloppy game. One more thing and this is on an official. There was a completed pass on the sideline. The official was standing right next to the player who caught the pass. Ruled a completion and stepping out of bounds after catch. The receiver broke loose from the tackle and could have gotten more yardage. They reviewed the play and he did not step out of bounds. My point here is, why review? The minute that official blew his whistle, the play is dead. It was an inadvertent whistle. It makes no difference what the review saw. Kirk physically whipped Marshall. #12 Blake Maddux for Kirk could play juco football somewhere and be developed. He has the frame and athleticism.
