My Richton Rebels got off to a bad start against a good Perry Central football team. I'm hoping it was just a slow start. I know Petal took one of our better players, but I still think we have the talent to be a competitive team.

From the looks of last night WC has a lot of work to do before region play. I only listened to part of the game, but I heard they had over 250 yards of penalties and struggled to move the ball on Quitman. Although, it seems the real entertainment was in the bleachers.

This Brick fella don't seem to be educated on Mississippi's oldest rivalry. I wouldn't expect someone from Madison to realize football in Mississippi existed before 1999.

I've heard a lot of good things about the QB at Petal. If he's really as good as they say he is then I think you could see them make a run.

I drive by Columbia on the way home from work and they already practicing after school. I don't see what the big deal is.

I've heard from some Petal folk that they are supposed to be much improved from last year. Which, I. would think the only way is up from last year.

Yea expecting miracles out of Petal as well. They were horrible last year.
