in 4A north first round Choctaw central will not beat IAHS. I seriously doubt that Yazoo City will beat ripley although it might be a good game into the 2nd half. Mooreville will get rolled by West Lauderdale. Houston might play with Senatobia for awhile but Senatobia should win and win big. Clarksdale will beat south pontotoc. Louisville will thump Shannon and put them out of their misery. Pontotoc will whack Gentry good. Kozy at Celadonia is by far the most even matchup on paper and I tend to lean toward a Kozy win due to them playing a tougher schedule. The only good team Caledonia played was IAHS and lost 28-14. I guess Kozy beating Caledonia is sort of an upset because it will be a road playoff win but other than that I just do not see any upsets happening in this round. You reference upsets put offer no specifics.

I guarantee you that you and me could practice and coach Falkner for a few weeks and they'd play better but until that happens they will continue to be a disaster. Okolona will have to leave about 14 players at home for Falkner to even have a shot.

For a team that has struggled to score, Calhoun city is very physical up front . They are still improving game to game.

shannon mite not score a point vs Louisville. The only 2 possible upsets that I see in all the 2A,3A and 4A first round games is Calhoun City over Northside and Kozy stands a good chance of knocking off Caledonia.

I think Lebby is perfectly capable but I doubt that he's flashy enough a hire for the money folks there. I'd be more interested to see if Lebby stays on another year working under Kiffin than this currently.

They weak as water compared to past Amory talent over the last 3-4 years and in an even weaker region. The only thing they got going is their Coaches Last name. Them Dampeers can flat out coach. I hope they do perform well but I doubt they make it past the 2nd round.

I think the North 4A is wide open with no clear favorite as anyone can win on a given night. Columbia still should win the south and the overall. I think 3A north will be either North Panola or Winona. I expect Enterprise to face either in the title game. Toss up I think North 2A could be won by Baldwyn, Charleston, Choctaw County or East Union. I expect Scott Central will win the south and then take the overall title until someone steps up and proves otherwise. Just My Thoughts. Pancho, over and out
