Pretty high-risk, high-reward hire for sure. This is obviously Charlie Weis's son so expectations are lofty. . But, here's hoping he's a better college coach than Charlie Sr. was at Notre Dame, and Kansas, and at Florida as the OC. Weis Jr. had one good offensive year at FAU. Maybe he will be good in the SEC, time shall tell. Expecting Kiffin to call the O at first though.

I thought they had somewhat turned the corner when Forrest Williams was at Long Beach. He had them close to making playoffs his last year there. LBHS is a really tough place to be, with the amount of quality schools in thet area. Gulfport, Biloxi, the Pass, Bay High, and especially SSC. It's tough to compete on the coast.

Duease has been doing this for as long as I can remember. There was one year, he played against Patrick Ewing Jr., and also they've been consistently competing in these out-of-state tournaments. In a way, it's the ability for kids to play great competition, to prep them for the conference season, and the tournaments. In fact, didn't MRA's football team play Oakland, Pulaski Academy, and Shedeur Sanders high school? It's giving kids an opportunity to compete with other good teams, and get better, win or lose.

This should be a good year for Prep. They have consistently been competitive since they hired Wise. Also, I think this is Brent's senior year?
