Nice win by MSU over A&M.

Some guy that doesn't talk about injuries?
-
Kentucky beat Florida, I didn't see that coming at all.
-
That Georgia/Bama game should be a great one for sure. I see it being a 24-21 type game. Bama definitely won't put up 42 on Georgia's D, but won't need to.
-
I agree, BUT to be fair... why even try when Robinson was running it at will? Bryce Young will get all the Heisman love after today, Robinson was much more impressive today than anyone else on the field.
-
Yep. Bama was bigger and better.
-
Ole Miss won the second half 21-14!!!** Kidding aside, I liked how the team didn't quit after getting down so bad. There's little doubt Bama/UGA will meet in the SEC championship game. They may well meet again in the NC game.
-
Contenders vs pretenders. Bama and Georgia are contenders. Ole Miss and Arkansas- not ready for prime time.
-
It's out now, Mingo out with a broken foot.
-
This one has potential in the 4th quarter. With just under 10 minutes left, Utah State closed the gap to 27-20 BYU.
-
I thought the game would be close, so LOL at me also. Iowa is a good team, like Oklahoma. Still, they aren't a top 5 team IMO... again, like Oklahoma.
-
Maryland/Iowa started out interesting but now Iowa is running away with it. Maybe Utah State will keep it interesting playing BYU? I'm flipping over to that one.
-
DEPTH. Bama has it, Ole Miss doesn't.
-
Drummond maybe, most likely not Mingo.
-
I ALMOST feel bad for Miami, good grief the kicker folded at the end.

I'd call Georgia/Arkansas the big one this week- battle of top 10 teams. Georgia has looked a TAD better than Arkansas and hosts, so I guess I'll pick Georgia. I really don't like this pick either way, should be a very good game. No former Saban assistant has beaten Saban. That will change sometime, but I wouldn't bet on it this weekend. I like this Ole Miss team and see them winning 8-9 games (leaning 9). In year two, I'll very gladly take a 9 win season under Lane. I like Ole Miss to keep it interesting, but Bama to win. 48-38 is a fair guess. A&M/MSU, I'm with you on that one also. MSU's D is pretty good, unless you throw over 10 yards against them. A&M doesn't throw over 5 yards it seems.... very close game. I'll take A&M since they host. I think Kentucky's record is more than a bit inflated, Florida will win easily. Which Auburn team shows up? Auburn at Penn State or Auburn vs Georgia State? Complete guess- Auburn came in sleeping vs Georgia State and shows they're better than that this weekend with a win at Baton Rouge. Cincy/Notre Dame- Huge playoff implications for sure... but between 2 teams that will exit the playoffs after a blowout if they make it IMO. I'll take Cincy also. I like your 3 upset picks. None of them may happen, but all 3 certainly have potential.

I've always said these polls shouldn't start until after the 1st or 2nd Saturday in October, it's a lot of guessing. Arkansas up to #8 in the AP and #11 in the Coaches Poll. OM moved to #12 in both polls. Arkansas and Ole Miss both have chances to prove their worth next weekend.
-
#21 North Carolina lost at Georgia Tech. The ACC has some decent teams, I don't see any of their teams being top 10 or even close to top 10 right now.
-
This weekend's games were, for the most part, boring on paper. It's been quite a fun day of watching, surprisingly. #4 Oklahoma barely escaped with a 16-13 win at home over West Virginia. #7 A&M lost at #16 Arkansas. #9 Clemson lost at home to NC State. #14 Iowa State lost at Baylor. #20 Michigan State was taken to OT by Nebraska before winning. #22 Fresno State needed to come back to win vs UNLV. #23 Auburn needed to come back to win vs Georgia State. #25 Kansas State lost at Oklahoma State.

No doubt, as Satch said... that Pittman hire ended up surprising everyone. Arkansas travels to Georgia next week while Ole Miss travels to Alabama. Those will be the biggest hyped two games next weekend. Arkansas/Georgia may well be a top 10 matchup.
-
I also expect this to be a close game. MSU's D is stiff against the run and short passes. LSU had open receivers deeper than ~12 yards a good bit today, Johnson missed a lot of passes in the first half that would have blown the game open. A&M's offense seems to think throwing over 6ish yards is against the rules or something.
-
NC State upset Clemson in 2OT. Auburn came back and won in the final minute. That 34-24 final score doesn't indicate, at all, how close this game was. Auburn took the lead with 45 seconds left on a 4th and goal. Auburn got a pick 6 right after that to make the game look like it wasn't so close.
-
Not much, at all. Ha I'm wondering if Wake Forest or Louisville actually win the ACC this year?? IF NC State can pull off this upset, their chances are just as good as Wake/Louisville.
-
Auburn trails Georgia State 24-12 at the half. Wut??
