Most of the Vardaman guys that got hurt are out for the season, they're a shell of the team they were 3 weeks ago. I think West Lowndes wins as Lumberton is nothing like they were a few years back.

Ty Jones may be the best player in the state, but saying he'd have 3000 isn't that same as him actually having 3000. When you're comparing kids from across the state you have to use objective measures not subjectiveness, otherwise it's not fair.

There is a lot of bias. I'd argue that Irving deserved it for 5a.

That's not how this works at all....

Howard went 5-5 and had less than 1200 yards passing, 14 tds and 4 picks against 6a competition. That leads me to think he's vastly overrated. I guess time will tell.

Having watched them over the past few years, I'm not sure they can reliably beat Palmer. It's going to take a drastic shift in culture to get them back to any amount of success. Their only win this year was against Coffeeville in which they hurt the best player by tackling him and throwing him down on the track a good 8 yards out of bounds.

As well it should be, they've won 3 total games in 3 seasons and no district games over that stretch. The new guy will get a much easier job though because of the district they're moving into
