Obviously West Point. Cleveland Central will be in the mix again. Add Pontotoc and New Hope to the list of new candidates

Clarksdale seems to be under coached every year. Shannon and Nettleton both have weapons at all 3 levels. I have bee impressed with Nettletons QB thus far. Nettleton will win a lot of games if he keeps taking the snaps

Hoover and Oak Grove this Friday night. I will be covering at Tupelo but will be tuning in to that one as well

It looks like Shannon will stack up against some tough competition. 5-5 would be a good outcome to end the season on IMO

Picayune is already a team I have written down. They impressed me the last two years.

I have been looking at possible matchups for state championships, and Hattiesburg keeps showing up on my radar. Is this a team that can make a deep run? Who is their top opponents they will see in playoffs?

Maybe I should say 2015 vibes. Or whenever it was when they won their last State Championship

South Panola might give people early 2000s vibe for the next few years in my opinion

Same here, should see improvement with the new coaching staff finding their groove

Unless Shannon has had some key move ins, I dont see Shannon with more than 4 wins

West Point vs Brandon New Hope vs Huston Tupelo vs Oxford Starkville vs Oxford

New Hope is on a decline

I do think Warren Central will make some noise. Not so much on Lake Cormorant

4a is heavy with Louisville. likewise, looks like Houston will be back playing deep in the playoffs

Yeah I think most everyone is expecting Starkville and Tupelo. Just unsure about the smaller classifications
