  1. MHSAA announcement Brandon Shields on X: All teams statewide have this option if both schools agree prior.
  2. Yes there are 11 weeks so with no bye week it is doable. I wasn't aware of a team. It is very rare to see teams play 11 now. Especially with the difficulty in scheduling non region games that going to 7 classes created. I would say less than 5% of the state plays 11 games.
  3. This has already been met. MHSAA teams no longer play 10+ regular season games. Every schedule I have seen for 2023 has 10 or 9 games.
  4. I understand what your'e saying, it's just odd to see the word "stacked" being used while describing any part of a team that just went 2-8.
  5. I worked at Moss Point when they were in the process of renovating the stadium. Yes, Dantzler Stadium was unofficial. From the way it was explained to me it's now Dantzler Field at Jerry Alexander Stadium.
  6. I really enoyed the reports Chunky gave from the jamorees he attended - seemed very fair and well balanced @Chunky6617
  7. All-Time Classic response here !! Job well done !!
  8. Good report and analysis sir!! Enjoyed reading.
  9. Why did this event have to be moved from Southern Miss ??
  10. ^^^^^ THIS !! All of this !! Right on, NoWammies !!
  11. I would think the above posting on the MAC site that lists Daniels as the person to contact would confirm he is now HFC. @s1nglewing
  12. He's referring to non-region play.
  13. NE Lauderdale HC in 2022 - Louisville OC before that.
  14. You can think what you like. I know what I saw, and I've since always remembered.
  15. Speaking to natural ability, Damarius Bilbo and myself graduated the same school year. The summer before our senior year, we were both at Boys State at Co-Lin CC. A group of us watched him take a knee on the 30 yard line on the football field and throw the ball, landing all the way in the far end zone 70+ yards away. Was incredible to watch.
  16. Green must be Co-DC with Jeff Roberts, former Choctaw County HC. Source: Choctaw County football HC Jeff Roberts expected to become Gulfport's next Co-DC (wcbi.com)
  17. Talked to someone Monday who works at OS that says Green is still at OS.
  18. I am unsure if he's interested, but former Ocean Springs DC, Zach Green, did not follow Pennock to Gulfport and former Pass HC Chase Carmody is the new DC at Ocean Springs. Could Green be worth a look?
  19. I say Bay, my wife says Bay High, we both know which team we're talking about here ... lol Semantics.
  20. Also, I think he is originally from Winston County, so he may be more likely to stay.
