I agree, the only thing I can say is that receiver Natchez got is good as advertised if you jump on his break he will burn you to hell every time.

Yup. We knew about twade last year. He could have played all last year as a freshman. You see a lot of players he’s that one kid that his presence is felt anytime he’s on the field. He will be a dandy dozen before long. Dillon brown played great last year every time he had an opportunity to touch the ball it was a big play. Our passing game isn’t our strength but it can be. Have to keep chopping at the bit. The win last night was a huge one and I mean huge. Can’t overlook south Jones or any of the next 3. But right now we are in great position.

I looked on maxpreps. Laurel played a team called Minor in Adamsville, AL. Before the game their record was 0-4, I don’t know how tough their Alabama opponents were but from the looks of it their opponents in the losses they seemed to be quality opponents from outside looking in. I think it may have been a good win for Laurel. Florence forfeit puts them at 1-0 in the region also.

Any word on Laurel?

Ok well maybe I have overstepped on Gautier lol. Y’all got some good points on them. I like that offense though. And I don’t think Wayne county has been getting lucky either. You can’t fluke those two wins with the kids they got. You don’t come back from quarantine with a new coach, new offense and win games like they have under those scenarios.

I think it will pay off as well. Region 3 is gonna be a slugfest we got some good teams brewing.

My confidence in Hattiesburg is higher than it’s been all season. But supposedly Natchez is the “real deal” with all these athletes they have and a 290 pound dl at qb. We’ll see. On the other hand I got one bold prediction I want to make and that is I think Gautier will either finish the season undefeated or finish out #1 in region 4.

That kid y’all have is a real baller. One thing I couldn’t wrap my head around was how small Meridian roster is for a 6a school. That offense is definitely different and not what I expected at all, I was expecting more of spread etc. If the cards align I think it could get interesting for both teams.

It was definite improvement. Our non region schedule was a tough one but I’m glad we played them. One thing I saw tonight was confidence starting to build up a little bit. That’s something we can build on going forward.

Meridian 41 Hattiesburg 35- Final

I went and checked. NFHS had it up before the season started it’s not there anymore. If I get more info I’ll let you know. Hattiesburg is doing it different this year.

If D’iberville got a tough defense then I think they can win it, if not the Tide will keep rolling.

I think it’s because everyone has gotten soft and reclusive.

I’ll be flipping back and forth from the Hattiesburg game to this one. I can’t make a pick but I will say I personally don’t think Greenville is a fluke. This could be OGs tough”EST” test until OS and GC toughest the rest of the year. I’ll throw a number out for both. If OG wins I got them 38-24 but if GC wins I got them 42-41.

Some of those may be true but you can’t forget kids recruit kids also.

It’s all a process. The lumps and bumps will make you better. I think the mystery of WC is sort of an advantage, I think they will shorten the game overall if they can sustain long drives.

I think west is the only team with true depth on the team in our region or in the south probably not just bodies but real depth

Sometimes I get cloudy judgement but that’s me being a die hard tiger fan and most times I would bat for them but this is not it. Disappointing is an understatement. Right now in week 2 I don’t see us making the playoffs and quite frankly with this product I don’t want to.
