Just watched Starkville and Madison Central. Starkville could not beat Brandon or Oak Grove IMO. I’ll take AJ Maddox over Mr 7A all day long. Burnside is really good but we practice against really good WRs everyday. He will get his but it will not be enough. The North teams are usually very physical but this is not one of them. I believe we will take this one home!

Thanks! I didn’t expect 0 for Meridian at all. Our D bent a couple times but did not break. I like our chances @ Brandon next week.

It will be interesting to see for me how well that the Meridian run game works tonight. Yeah Hill will get some big plays but I think it will be much different than the first meeting based on how we played our last two games more aggressively up front .

Andrew Maddox has been finally playing up to everyone’s expectations the last couple games. Yes, Meridian is playing on house money but I am going with the Warriors in a big way at their house. Meridian will get it handed to them tomorrow night!

Did Hill play both ways against OS?

Oak Grove and Brandon will win big at home. South State in Brandon will be a good one that you don’t want to miss!

Congrats on a great year! OS has built a really good program the last several years. I respect that but will never admit it.

Other than losing the opening onside kick and the 2-3 big plays by Biloxi, that was one of the best half performances I have ever seen by OG.

Congrats true fan! To many Bulldogs to keep up with in Meridian… Daniel Hill should have won Mr Football in 7A at least in my mind.

News just in. Petal football coach has announced he resigned. PETAL, Miss. (WDAM) - Petal High School Head Football Coach/Associate Director of Athletics Allen Glen has stepped down from his position, according to the Petal School District. The school district made the announcement Wednesday evening, stating that Glenn will be stepping down effective immediately. District superintendent Dr. Matt Dillon issued a statement on the move, expressing gratitude towards Glenn for his tenure with the Petal Panthers: Coach Glenn and his family have been an integral part of our school district and community for the past three years. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and district, we are deeply appreciative of his commitment to our football program and passion for the game; and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for his tireless efforts, dedication, and the countless hours he has invested in our student-athletes and coaches. I am with you on those picks. The only game really up for debate in my mind is the Pearl and Gulfport game. Pearls QB is pretty good for his age and is very quick on his feet. I was shocked they beat Meridian like that last week so credit to Pearl. I favor Gulfport but they seem to choke when it matters. Round 2 7A South will be much more interesting.

Brandon doesn’t play Biloxi but ok. I think all the teams on the left wins. That’s what I am hoping for. I want OG to play OS and Brandon pretty much as simple as that. If we don’t beat them both then it will be a disappointing year for me! Unless both teams don’t make it which is possible.
