If you move for academic purposes you should be able to move for athletic purposes.

It would be really hard to get a G5 team ranked in the top 16. I am going to use Southern Miss as the example. Their nonconference schedule consists of Alcorn Auburn La Tech and Tulane next season. If they did happen to win all four of those games they are not going to get any votes to be in the top25. Beating a "brand name" like Auburn does nothing for Southern Miss when Auburn has really not been good the past few years. And beating Tulane would not be a shock at all next season. So if they ran the table in conference play, do you really think the voters are going to look at Southern Miss? absolutely not.

Most coaches teach PE and tells the kids to just do whatever and dont get hurt. The other coaches teach drivers ed. When I was in school we had maybe 5 coaches who taught a major class like English History Biology or Algebra.

Yikes.

I know nothing about the smaller schools on the coast and I wont judge on just one season, but didnt Coach French just go 0-10 at Bay this past season.

Same thing happened with Bobby Hall. So with this type thing happening with 2 state championship winning coaches, something is definitely wrong in the Biloxi Administration when it come to football.

Other than Laurel our non region games were all 7a opponents. Of course two of those 7a teams had not been very good the past few seasons.

Maybe in 2027 Hattiesburg and Picayune will schedule each other in non region. I know teams from the same class but different regions do not really want to play each other because they could meet in the playoffs. But Hattiesburg and Picayune have played so much recently it would not really matter. Both teams know what the other is gonna do.
