We didn't even have playoffs when I started HS

    July

When has school ever started in July? Nuts.
  4. Hopefully they'll show up better than last season.
  5. Nathan Encrapera is St Patrick's new head honcho
  6. I was looking at total enrollment. So divide 260 by half - 130. I think CC will remain 8-man for a while regardless of what their boy/girl/total enrollment is.
  7. MAIS doesn't count only boys for classification purposes unless something has just recently changed.
  8. Guess we'll find out eventually, but Parklane has about 240 and they're not 6A
  9. As a guess, if CC remains 8-man, they might be 2A, but if 11-man possibly 5A, depending on the growth of the HS. Regents and HCA should have between 60-90 in HS... but again, since MAIS doesn't publish enrollment numbers of member schools, it's simply guesswork.
  10. Sedric Cain has been rehired to coach the football team at Amite Co. Scott Anderson is the new Head Coach at Marks Palmer.
  11. Riverside is open again. Adrian Agee is no longer the coach
  12. About half of Loyd Star's team consisted of Freshmen last season
  13. Any ideas on who was hired at these schools? Amite Co. Byhalia Forest Hill Marks Palmer Quitman
  14. Regents and HCA have roughly the same numbers enrolled. If Christ Covenant grows its HS like its MS, it'll have about 160 in HS - plenty for 11 man ball

  18. You are correct. MAIS doesn't publish enrollment numbers. One can get an idea of enrollment by inputting search queries here: https://nces.ed.gov/surveys/pss/privateschoolsearch/ But it would take a lot of time to search all of the schools and the data is two-three years old.
  19. They've been deleted from the schedule with the exception of their first game vs Madison St Joseph, which is probably an oversight. My assumption would be they'll not be fielding a team at all this fall.
