Tupelo is who they are. A usually slightly above average team. There were those three really good years recently, but other than those Tupelo has achieved at about the same level this century. To suggest that somehow they're not cutting the mustard suddenly is a red herring. They are 5-3, likely to end up 6-5 (or 7-4 with luck), which pretty much where Tupelo always is at the end of any given season, and then they'll make their obligatory first round exit.
