  1. Presbyterian Christian is open again. Caldwell is going to Heritage in an administrative role.
  2. Updated: North Sunflower is stepping up to play 11-man ball
  3. FCAHS really can't be worse... they even lost to Purvis last year
  4. Lake, in 1974, went 11-0 and was unscored on. Hamilton also was unscored on during their undefeated 1977 season.

  6. He left Montgomery Catholic in December 2020. Coached last year at Benjamin Russell - a 6A public school - and went 3-7.
  7. He became the Headmaster at Heritage.
  8. It has been announced
  9. The kid will be a Freshman & has offers from Oregon, Ole Miss, and Akron. SJ had better show out this fall or they'll be hiring another coach I'll bet. And four years of tuition for 8-10 players gets into the half-a-million neighborhood.
  10. That's over $100k/year
  11. Steve Davis, formerly OC at Franklin County, has been hired as Head Football Coach at Natchez
  12. Amite County has hired Michael Dogan
  13. West Bolivar is open: https://westbolivar.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=245 Really rotten timing for a coaching search.
  14. I'm gonna wait on St Joe - apparently a lot of folks seem to believe they're going to be hot stuff but the proof is in the pudding. They have a long tradition of mediocrity there in football, notwithstanding a handful of seasons, that started in 1990 when they infamously let Bill Raphael go after 40 years as head coach and AD. I hope I'm wrong, but knowing how things work there I don't think so. Taking into account that a fairly good, but not great JA team beat SJ by three TD's last year... is SJ and JA going to flip that much talent in one season? I mean it's happened before but not often. JA will also beat Starkville, Pillow, and Parklane with Parklane being the only coin-flip game
  15. Hillcrest will, after all, be playing football this fall... as an 8-man team with an independent schedule.
  16. And Mississippi has three teams ranked in the top 25 nationally: https://www.capitalsportsms.com/capitalsports/three-mississippi-teams-in-baseball-america-top-25/article_caf04644-c5a1-11ec-b61d-43e4ce2fbac8.html
  17. Both Morton and Union will be in the mix in 5-3A. Unless EHS finds some linemen it may be one of those "fire Jimmerson" seasons.
  18. The Southeastern Commission of Independent Schools’ Kickoff Classic will be played in August, but not in Montgomery. The games so will be played at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton , Georgia. Teams have not yet been chosen (AISA hasn't finalized their schedule yet), but will feature some of the best of the MAIS, AISA, GISA, and SCISA. 19. Leland should be a good measuring stick for West Bolivar.
  20. By the way, there is a thing happening on May 14 (from Coach Nolden's FB): https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1356049631562969&set=gm.1177641666371403
  21. Nothing here (4/26/22): https://bolivarbullet.com/ One would expect a sudden coaching change at the beginning of spring practice to make news...
  22. A Rhodes Scholar couldn't decipher your gobbledygook. I think you won't say whether the coach is the coach because in reality you are simply attempting to subvert his authority and those who actually make the decisions for the West Bolivar School District and make yourself out to be something you're not... and you've been doing it for years. The program and school you claim to represent and support you do more damage to than anyone else by consistently posting surreptitious conjecture about its coaches and administration.
